I went to my final homecoming game and left after about a half hour. Its pouring rain and it was boring. There was almost no one there.
*Huggles* that sucks!

I'm having my first meal of the day- a chocolate milkshake from McD's

(reason is I had my wisdom teeth pulled)

How are you feeling?
I updated my LJ first chance I was able to...since then, well I don't have the gauzes (sp?) in my mouth anymore because the bleeding stopped.

My bottom lip is still swollen and my chin is numb too  I cut up the pain killers so I could swallow it easier. And now my snack is the shake

Thanks for asking :D

Feel better. :)
You aren't using a straw with that milkshake, are you? I had two baby teeth pulled last summer, and wasn't allowed to use a straw for 24 hours.

Awww...hon! *huggles*
I hated the bleeding part when I had mine pulled a few years ago...I felt like I needed a bucket. The good thing is, you have your family to take care of you. Feel better soon!

NO STRAWS!!! NO STRAWS!!!

This is important, sweetie. Do NOT use a straw at all for a couple of days! Dislodging a newly-formed clot in the empty socket can be very painful.

The paper we got with the instructions said no straws either so no I'm not using them

Thanks everyone :D

Oh Regina, I am so sorry! I hope you are feeling ok...I haven't gotten my wisdom teeth out yet and I am dreading it! Luckily there are some strong pain killers available to help ease the pain. :lookaroun

Well, get well *huggles* are coming your way!
Thank you *huggles*

I suggest you stop avoiding it. The earlier you do it, the better. I was a better patient than my brother today. We both got it done together and he's 17. I think it's because his situation was worse since they were growing in sideways and stuff. The only "problematic" one with me was my lower right one because it was really in there so in the middle of my Beach boys Cd and my dozing off and on I could feel the tooth being cut and yanked out.

And we got our teeth as souvenirs

See, I would get it done...except I don't have dental insurance yet. and I won't have it for at least another year when I get married OR when I get a job with insurance. That's one of the other reasons I haven't done it yet.

Ohh...good plan then. As long as you're not being affected by it, you can wait a year. We were very worried about insurance because they had all these restrictions for it with my dad's company. But what wasn't covered by the dental insurance, regular medical insurance paid for it.

Nope, I'm not really being affected by them. What is affecting me is the two cavities I have. One on each side! I've been putting that off too, but I don't think I can do that too much longer!
