My parents are not seperated, but my dad is an Episciopal deacon and my mom is a regular pew-sitter Catholic. (I go to church with my mom, obviously making me a Catholic that went to CCD for so many years! Luckily, I made my Confirmation last year, so I'm done for good.)

Lil'mermaid feels the same way... she made hers 3 years ago. Princess #2 starts back tonight, she is not amused.

Good Evening Huggles! Speaking of CCD.....wow that was a loooong time ago. I had some great religion teachers that made the classes fun. I am winding down from work, it has been a CRAZY day. I literally mean a "crazy" day. For example.....try taking care of a patient who is 5 days post-op after removal of a benign brain tumor and is also a drug addict needing another dose of methadone because she is suffering withdrawal symptoms. The patient wanted to leave the hospital and go home AMA. The patient had atleast 50 or more staples in their head from surgery and could barely sit up straight.......but still wanted to leave the hospital and go home. Needless to say, Psych consult was next on the list! Honestly it was quite sad to see.

SO...how was everyone else's day?

I taught first grade CCD back in the 70's when I was in HS & college.
Every year at Chistmas we would get a box of candy and a little turkey.

The only reason I'd like to teach is to get that experience in. But I'm not sure I want to do that yet. Maybe next year since it'll be my tentative last year at FIU :lol:
