LOL! Thanks, ladies! (and gentlemen). I'm going to see grandma and grandpa tonight, and the surgery is in a week. We'll see how it goes... Happy Easter to everybody, if I don't see you before then!

I DID get to see you all again. When the In law's are asleep, the mouse will play! MUA HA HA HA!
Anyhoo, went to visit the grandparents today in the hospital, and OMG my grandpa is the funniest person on the planet. Ok, so he's normally very grouchy and whatnot, but being in the hospital makes him extra delightfully so! (I have gotten a glimpse of where exactly I come from today) First of all, he did have a mild stroke
so that sucks. But he's expected to make a very nice recovery. He's in rehab now, not sure how long he'll have to be there. Grandma goes home tomorrow. So anyway, when my dad went to get Grandpa to take him to the ER, he was walking out of the house. Went something like this:
Dad: What're you doing?!?!?
Grandpa: *Shuffling out of the garage* Gettin the mail.
Dad: I'm taking you to the hospital
Grandpa:Bull**** you are!

And after being admitted in the ER, he used the same word to the nurse when she showed him all the paperwork they were going to have to fill out ("Bull**** I am!") Then, THEN! He apparently offered to serve her a "knuckle sandwich"!
And in the time that I was there visiting him, his bed was too hard, the pillow too flat, room too cold, etc... and after they moved him to rehab, he was informed he'd have to be REadmitted for THAT floor, which meant all the paperwork AGAIN! :brick: He informed her that somebody else was going to have to answer for him, because he was tired and going to sleep. :lol:
