I was reading a few of Terrell Owens' comments on his site. Someone asked him what the deal was with him saying "I love me!" all the time. He said he says that a lot because it's his way of giving himself confidence and being able to do what he does. He said it's always good to tell yourself how much you love yourself. Although, I thought it was funny at first. When I thought about it, TO is so right! Too many people live their lives feeling too sorry for themselves to be able to stand up and realize their full potential. It's better to live life conceited than to live it feeling like dirt and helpless. So everyone, let's stand up, look ourselves in the mirror, and give ourselves one big ol huggle! :D

*starts singing Whitney Houston's "The Greatest Love"* ;)

I'd say I have a healthy respect for myself, and sometimes I think I'm kinda cool.

Ok... I am in need some major huggles! Anyone who's talked to me knows how much of a huge hockey freak I am. Well anyways, today was the NHL Draft lottery and my Pittsburgh Penguins had the best chance to land the number one pick, which is unanimously agreed upon to be a Russian phenom named Alexander Ovechkin. He has been proclaimed to be the best prospect to come out of the draft in 20 years, he's "The Next One". This entire season, I've been pushing my Penguins not to win but to lose enough to land that pick. And today, in the lottery, it was stolen from us. The pick was awarded to the Washington Capitals, our dreaded nemesis. I'm gonna cry now when I look on the ice and see Ovechkin wearing a Capital's crest on his chest and not a Penguins. Why?!

So I went to Best Buy tonight (I know... bad move for me... I am worse than a kid in a candy store in that place)

-Got the Matrix Revolutions DVD... (WIDESCREEN EDITION... thank you very much... Full screen pan & scan garbage just es me off, lol)

-West Side Story DVD (again...in Widescreen special edition box set)

Ummm... a new CD...

and a Highly additctive game for the PC... its Called SeaWorld Tycoon... so I was building the park in Florida... and all my rides and attractions and Food and Beverage stands were breaking down... and the game would not let me hire any more people to fix all this crap & keep the park clean... (is that how it is at the real parks?  ) lol So I got angry and annoied by it (hours later) and turned it off... :brick:

I know what you mean...

Yesterday I went into the local Best Buy (which is up there as one of my fav stores), mind you I was going to buy the Matrix Rev DVD (widescreen...I can't stand the full screen either) ended up walkin out with the Animatrix DVD too...and almost a new CD (not to mention I had to keep myself from venturing into other parts of the store...like the cameras section...to make sure I wouldn't go home with anything else....)...thankfully I was armed with a gift certificate....

They must spray something in Best Buys...hmmm....
