Hello

:sohappy: To AL, I just had to reply to this post because AL, your Avitar caught my eye right away. I am an avid watcher of the Travel channel on cable and I have seen a special several times over the past two years about the Hotel in the Country of Dubai that I think your Avitar is a picture of. I want to travel there some day, just to stay at that hotel. Is this what your Avitar depicts?

Sounds like good advice to live by - that ought to be somebody's signature line. Sorry to hear about Grandpa's melanoma. Best wishes for successful treatment.

Well guys and gals, this seems like as good a place as any to say a goodbye, myself, for more than a weekend. I'm going to head out for a while too, although it is going to be tough to stay away because you are all so fun.

I found this board in the fall of 2003 and joined early this year when planning a trip. You have all been so helpful in plotting everything from where to stay to which parks to visit on which days to so much more. I never thought I'd get so involved beyond planning my Easter trip. The next thing I know, I've been back from the trip for a longer period of time than I spent planning the trip! I just looked at my post count and realized I've been having too much fun around here. So, I'll say goodbye for now. Thanks to all for the happy welcomes and good neighborly friendliness to me while I've been here.

This board is a great source for all news Disney and to spend a little time with Disney fans like ourselves, but you all already knew that didn't you?

**Huggles to all**

Before I return, I will try and get:

some pants for Speck so he can post his photo and not get banned
the perfect beast for wannabeBelle to travel with in style to Coronado Springs Resort as often as she would wish
Maria back to the magic where she belongs with a job as Queen of the Mexico Pavillion at Epcot Center
some good tires, a new fish and a new job at WDW for MKT - better than the one he had before
a good on-property WDW hotel reservation for Barnum's next trip
a healthy turnout for BwanaBob's meet
a break for the numbskull plantstand vendor. It turns out his product wasn't really photoworthy anyway
"famous soon enough" designation for woody
a visible change in Walt Disney Co. management philosophy for General Grizz
a gm job at a deluxe for turkey (leg boy) and jill
a site chatroom for wdwmagic
a clue for banned bill on how to behave on a website (Just say no to Jon)
a beagle for JSBL James
a one day multipark pass for Kingdom Konsultant to sell to all of us.
photos of the old Snow White Village CP trailer park to share with Wilt Dasney
return of the Center Street hot dog wagon for all current ODFers at MK
pargo tunnel rides and a spy camera for Pixie Duster and PhotoDave
a seat at the cool guys table for orlpassholder (always reporting from the geek labs)
a perfect day at MK for Steamboat Kevin
a new car for ArchiDanDisney, made in the USA but of undetermined corporate nationality
"If You Had Wings" for Expo Seeker and last but not least,
the perfect blind date for xfkirsten to impress with her Sea World of California Journey to Atlantis costume, and some courageous new hires so she can get to be an escort during these sunny summer days.

If I didn't mention you, don't think that I didn't enjoy your posts and contributions, because I did. I hope that I have given back at least a fraction to this board of what I have enjoyed and taken from it.

Thank you to the four people (or possibly one person on four occasions) (or some combination of the two) who gave me positive reputation.

Razzberries to the one person who gave me negative reputation. "You take from me that which has no value to you, but is priceless to me," or words to that effect. I forget the quote. Just kidding - you gave me a laugh.

So again, thanks to all, and see you on Main Street!

How was everyone's holiday weekend? Mine was good. I thought with my whole family away in Texas and my best friend spending all summer at the Jersey shore, it would be pretty lonely. But to my surprise, my friend didn't go to the shore this weekend and hung out with me. So it wasn't so bad after all. I thought there would be zero chance of him staying in Philly for the July 4 weekend but I was wrong. Yay! :)

My weekend was... bleh. At work on Saturday, Shamu broke on me right at the beginning of my first set, so I had to spend 45 minutes in costume where the full weight of it rested on my right shoulder. Now my shoulder is really killing me. It doesn't help that I was in a relly heavy costume all day on Sunday, either. Bleh. Yay for ice!
