Hamburg would be a great port in my opinion as cruise ships can dock more or less in the city center - at the pier where the old ocean liners used to leave from. But it is a difficult port to get into as it is not located at the coast, but rather quite a bit inland, so you travel along the Elbe down to Hamburg. Very scenic though.

Also, Hamburg is on the North Sea coast, not the Baltic. For cruises from Copenhagen that would make no sense at all as the advantage of Copenhagen is that you don't have to travel all around Denmark on the way from the North Sea to the Baltic.

Finally, I thing the possibility of counting Warnemünde as the port of Berlin (for someone who used to live in Berlin this is quite a funny notion as it is quite a distance away) the port had a huge appeal for visitors from the US.

Reports continue that DCL will get into ports in 2015 that it hasn't been able to get into before due to other cruise line slots. I have searched summer port bookings in Europe and looked for other Internet rumours, about four sites have these rumours now and there is nothing more out there.

@DISNEY FANTASY if you need any help with language for European port websites, I can offer German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, French. And I usually can read Dutch fairly well. And I could even get my sister to look at anything in Polish!

Thank you, but you can google search and it should come up in any language. Can't find anything of it at the mo.

Here's hoping!

Yes here's hoping but I still thin
Know this could be a long wait, maybe December the first week of that month, or even early 2014. Another couple of people have now said to me they have heard this rumour of seven night sailings from Copenhagen, up to the Baltic, they were told the tides, the busy English Channel, the long cool run in the North Sea and the cost of a longer 12 night cruise are all factors. We shall see.

I see ABD has announced a new tour for Norway, details to be announced in October. I wonder if it is would be a tie in for 2015 DCL Baltic cruises, or just a tie in for the new Disney Movie Frozen coming out in Nov.

Yes my TA said that, I can see the explanation is both, yes the film, and yes Baltic cruises.
