It's incredibly slow loading, and it's difficult to get them to move with any consistency. Often times vehicles are being stuck in corners and people that are waiting 60+ minutes without getting much enjoyment out of it.

Also if you lean too far it slows it waaay down, and you're not supposed to step on the "tire" part when you get in and out. I love the concept, I liked the idea of the old Flying Saucers ride, but I think a different ride system would have been better. I'm sure the lawyers and insurance companies were heavily considered in the current design.

Hopefully the monsters inc roller coaster in Hollywood studios. It would make Pixar place more complete and I love the thought of re-creating the hanging doors scene into an indoor suspended rollercoaster! :)

So what you're saying is that it's not much different than the old Flying Saucers. I thought that they had gotten rid of all of the bugs this time around.

They actually removed some of the helpful things from the old Flying Saucers, like an easier way for cast members to move the Saucers around during load/unload

Was that original to the Saucers, though? Maybe history will repeat itself. I also wonder if there's some way to have air coming from vents on the walls to push tires away from the walls and corners.

Guess I missed something. Did anyone at Disney or any of the reliable insiders go on record saying that an announcement is/was imminent? Or was this a rumor simply based on someone hearing a suggestion that an announcement may have been planned and postponed?

Edit: Saw on a TV spot advertising tonight's Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition on ABC. According to the brief ad, part of tonight's show will take place at DCA (?)
"And stay tuned during the show for a special surprise in store for Disney's Animal Kingdom park in Orlando.."

Is this the "big" announcement planned? Surely it isn't about Avatarland officially breaking ground/starting work. That's been old news for days. I smell another disappointment.

I bet it will be an announcement the:

"Avatarland" has broken ground.
DHS will receive a major re-imagining including a major expansion
One more disney day will return on a randomly selected day next year.
Jungle Cruise at WDW will also receive new safety measures
News on the Test Track renovation
And also the DTD reimagination.

The announcement will announce a new DISNEY DECADE!

I wish...
