How would you use Disney music in a reception

If I could re-do our wedding I'd use Promise as our first dance. Our wedding party dance was to You've Got a Friend in Me from Toy Story. It was actually my husband's choice and he's not exactly the Disney enthusiast that I am.

At our wedding, when we walked down the aisle it was to the Fantasyland medly. So it was When you wish upon a star and then went to Once upon a dream and then my dad and I walked down to A dream is a wish your heart makes. After they announced us husband and wife and all that we walked to the music from Peter Pan's Flight as that is my all time favorite ride. Then as all of the food came out we played Be Our Guest.

If I ever get married, "Promise" will be either the first or last dance...

For my daughter's wedding my brother was DJ for us. When it was time to introduce the wedding party he played, "Please stand clear of the doors, por favor mantengense allejando de las puertas". It set the mood just right.

A good friend of mine used the disney wedding CD during the dinner part of the wedding. It was a nice, simple touch of disney at her wedding.

The intro music from the MainStreet Electrical Parade is perfect to introduce the bride and groom and I had the whole song play while we entered the reception. The real name is Baroque Hoedown and if you are ever at a place that has a TouchTunes jukebox; you should be able to get it.

my wife and i played a disney cd throughout the early part of the reception. i forget which, but it had - "you've got a friend in me", "circle of life", "a whole new world", "kiss the girl", "i wanna be like you", and several more. great dinner music honestly! we of course did "when you wish apon a star" for our dance....

if you'd like i'll look for the actual name of the cd- great disney music nomatter what!!

I was married at Disney in March and used a melody of Disney music while everyone was being seated. It was also used as guests exited the wedding. I also used it as background music for our reception. We had an Escape wedding so it was small and the melody of Disney music fit perfect. I could not find a perfect Disney song to walk down the aisle to. It would have been perfect in the wedding pavillion, but none that I found worked. Hope this helps.
