How much hopping can you handle?

I agree. IMO-The only purpose of hopping is to see the evening entertainment (Spectromagic, Fantasmic or something like that) because not every park offers those to the guest each night anymore.

Good point...and also to go to reservations you have in another park or to go to EMH in another.

We stick with no more than 2. Always fun and easy to hop from MK to Epcot on the monorail!!! Or take the boat from Epcot to MGM if you're in the Boardwalk area.

I'm usually the one that encourages hopping while everyone else wants zero part of it, usually because they're exhausted. Haha. I went for a day in '07 & hopped to every single park, rode every major attraction, and still had room to spare. Of course, when I'm there for multiple days I keep the hopping at a minimum - usually 2 parks a day.

For the first time ever I did all four parks on my second-last day of my solo trip last August 2008, and ended the night at the Adventurers Club at Pleasure Island.

Let's see, I started out after leaving Shades of Green, walked over to the Poly and grabbed a bus for Animal Kingdom. Wanted to see the opening show of the day, but since my vacation was in the middle of Tropical Storm Fay (it rained three days straight), the opening was nixed. I hit things I had not done before (Harabe Wildlife Preserve, Festival of the Lion King, Nemo show), I was off to MGM/Hollywood studios, then walked to the Boardwalk, got a malted shake at Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club, entered the International Gateway, caught the American Advenuture show, got some soda at Club Cool, hit Spaceship Earth a few times, before hopping on a monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

By that time it was 7pm and Tropical Storm Fay was saying goodbye with this ultimate gullywasher that cleared out Main Street (see below). I trudged down Main Street, watched kids of all ages jump in and out of huge puddles. I only visited the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Carribbean, but it was well worth it.

Soaked to the bone, got back to Shades of Green, took a shower, changed into some okay-ish clothes and visited the crew at the Adventurers Club one last time (got to the AC about 9:30-10pm).

I got back to the room about 1am, packed, got up about 6:30am, checked out, stored my luggage, and hit three more parks before I had to leave for my 8pm flight out of MCO. Got over to MGM for their extra morning hour, by 10am I walked over to the Boardwalk for a snack, traveled from France to Mexico through a deserted World Showcase, went on Spaceship Earth before catching the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom for some mid-afternoon heat and another gullywasher of a storm. Managed to get over to Downtown Disney and did some shopping before catching my Mears taxi to MCO.

Will I do four parks in a day next time? Maybe, probably. I accomplished the feat, but I hit what I wanted to do, but if I tried to ride every ride, there would be no way for me to do everything at all the parks in a day.
Still, though, can't believe I did it.

We easily have done 3 in a day, never tried four, but Im sure we coudl do it! We have started with MK, went about 9am, then headed to Epcot on monorail at about 12. walked through Epcot, rode SSE, and grabbed a FP for Test track for 8pm-9pm that night (it was week of CHristmas and new years 07). We headed out International Gateway, had a late lunch on the boardwalk. Went to resort (corondo) for a drink by the pool. Changed, headed to MGM (it was still MGM at the time!!!) caught Osbornes opening at 6ish. rode TOT and RNRC on standby's. left by 7:45. caught first bus that came, it was to CBR. waited a few minutes and the Epcot bus arrived! made it in to Epcot, and over to TT just about 8:30, Met a really nice family on one of the bridges, who let us scootch in to watch ROE! So 3 parks, 4 entries, and the boardwalk. Cant wait to try it all again in 38 days!!!!!

We've done 4 parks once.

Started off at AK and rode Everest, Tough to be a Bug, and Dinosaur. Over to MK and rode Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder and Swiss Family Treehouse. Ate lunch. Took the bus to the Studios and used Single rider line for Toy Story Midway Mania and RNRC. Star Tours. Rode the bus to Epcot and rode Spaceship Earth, Test Track and the boat ride in Mexico. Ate dinner in China and then watched one of the Sounds of summer concerts. We started at 9am and finished up around 6:30pm. We used only Disney transportation. I think we did it back in August, just my sister and I. It was pretty easy with only 2 people. Once we hit all 4 parks, Boardwalk, DTD, and the Grand Floridian in one day but that was for a pin pursuit and we only rode 1 ride in each park that time. It was fun, but we were tired at the end of the day.

We have never done more than 2 in a day. Yes you have to work to have fun, but not so much as to tire yourself out so much that you don't enjoy it or you start to snap at family, or get yourself sick. IMHO, not worth it. :animwink:

2 at the most. We don't like to rush. Mostly we pick a park in the early AM then go back to the resort and then go to another park in the later PM.

I did 5 in one day, just to say that I did.

-MK for a bit (half hour)
-Epcot (half Hour)
-DAK (literally walked in and out)
-Hollywood (just for Toy Story)
DME to Airport around 1:00
-Arrive in California around 8
-Disneyland was open till midnight. (and I gained 3 hours thanks to time zones)

Had there been no traffic I might have made it to DCA as well.

Great times.

Pretty cool!! Even though part of your itinerary consisted of walking in and walking out, it's still cool to say that you visited that many parks in one day.

I've made it to three parks in one day, using EMH. My goal this summer is to hit all 4.
