so I am just catching that a goodnight kiss actually happens and even though I have stayed the EMH at MK several times on our visits, never been in the last group to leave the park and have never seen this no even heard of it until just now.

I sat in the hub behind the Partners statue and had my video camera rolling on the castle to record it...didn't have time to explain to my brother what it was...I was so excited....then he says "What the f*** is the 'goodnight kiss'????". It wasn't loud. Nobody was around us. But it was definitely on my video so I turned off the camera and sat there shooshing him. Otherwise, I coulda showed it to you. LOL!

I am so glad I am not the only one who has been to WDW 3 times and totally clueless about this until I caught a discussion about it in a thread about closing the park today!!:p

I deleted it as soon as the Kiss was over to clear space. If I'd kept it, I would've. LOL!

aww !! Well now on the list is I close down MK either Thurs, Sun, or out last day the following Thurs, and I get a pic of this..however my backup plan is to get my daughter the graveyard shift worker to do it if I wimp out, so one way or another I get to see this happen!

Got to see it in 2004 after following a friend's advice. We book one of the last dinner reservations in Cinderella's Castle and watched the fireworks out of the window while eating. By the time we were finished with dinner there was hardly anyone around and we sat back to "get our kiss". It was one of the best times in MK, without my kids of course :)

Between EMH and our late dining habits, we're always one of the last to leave the park, so I've seen it quite a few times. It's very nice and certainly worth catching if it means hanging around an extra 10 minutes, but I'm not sure it's worth keeping the kids up an extra 4 hours for.
