How many DVC points do you own?

I've moved up a notch after adding 100 points at BLT this year, now at 270 total.

275 points. All at SSR.

I so agree! We are newbies as well. 280 at AKV but I would like to add on as soon as possible at BLT.

We purchased 275 resale at SSR in March! Heading down for our first DVC trip in a couple weeks

Started with 300 at Saratoga in 2005 and purchased another 100 at Animal Kingdom Lodge in 2008. Based on when we travel and the fact that we like to go with friends from time to time, this seems to be the perfect amount. Depending on whether or not we get our waitlists this holiday season or not, we'll either have 38 points to bank, or 16.

Haven't regretted the purchase one bit, and consider the additional discount on annual passes as a 10% savings on the annual dues.

We bought in once almost 11 years ago. Realized, there was no way we could afford it. We were just barely starting out and was making only $8,000 a year. Yes, $8,000 and they gave us a loan. They must've been crazy or desperate! After we arrived home, we realized there was no way we could afford it.

How much do points go for now? Does everyone just buy them through DVC or elsewhere?

We have 320 @ SSR. We found this yr that we ended up banking like 30 points since we only got a 1bdrm, compared to a 2 bdrm. I know in the past we have had to borrow.

I started with 150, but added another 100 due to the kids now have grandkids and we needed more room for family and freinds.

We have 360 points at SSR and we have decided to buy into BLT.

We only have 150, but it's just the two of us and I only get two weeks of vacation per year, so that is enough for now.

Over the years we've owned 550 DVC points, but now we're down to just 155 - all at SSR. We downsized the DVC points after we bought our Marriott resale week.

Bought 100 at BWV earlier this year, bringing us to a grand total of ... 100.

We haven't even made our first trip home yet (coming up in October) and we've already got symptoms of addonitis!
