How many DVC members on WDWMagic?

Me and DH Finally purchased DVC direct this year at AKL-220 points.First stay as members will be this December. We always stayed in Villas or at Deluxe resorts so this was a no brainer.

Hi. Wow, sure are a LOT of DVC members on this board.

My husband and I are members. We bought into the Boardwalk back in August of 2000 for 220 points. We mainly stay at OKW during the summer (but this year we finally stayed at BWV which was awesome) and either the Contemporary or Polynesian in the winter months (to stay on the monorail).

We've lovin' it! Best thing we could have ever done! How many 5 year olds can actually say that they're taking their 10th trip to Disney in December? Very cool....and spoiled! :slurp:

Very happy member since 2006. OKW and BWV are home for us.

I too am a DVC member, I think from around the time this thread was first started. We have points at SSR retirement home but fortunately have only had to stay there once.

We bought 150 points in 1996 at Boardwalk. Then when we wanted to add on in 2005(?) the only thing available was Saratoga Springs so we purchased another 150 to bring our total to 300 points. SSR is our least favorite of all the DVC's but we never worry about the only advantage you get at the home resort of the shorter booking time. We always book last minute and take what we can get. All in all, Boardwalk is still our favorite though.

I see this thread is from 2004 but I haven't chimed in yet. So, SSR 120 points, member since 2010...It's not much but we paid cash on a resale, and we have not regretted it!
