How long would it take to replace SGE and MILF?

I like SGE too! HAven't seen MILF.

Would anyone be interested in me reviewing things that are new/improved since I last went? It would be entertaining.

If you want to by all means. It's always great to know what someone thinks of the parks. I personally love trip reports, or reviews, or whatever. Lol. Sure, i'd read it.

Agree the speedway is classic and still popular. But a HKDL style makeover for this ride is MUCH needed. I hope WDW continues with the major retheme every year for its classic ride. JC and speedway are high on that list.

As for MILF, please get rid of it! SGE is ok, but MILF is a theme spoiler in my mind. Now DL is trying to add it. BAD BAD!!!!!

I agree with pretty much everything you said, except the emboldened part. I hang out on Disneyland forums on other websites, and the fans there are STILL mourning the loss of their Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I've been to both versions, and while the Tarzan may be newer/more adventurous, the SFR Treehouse has much better atmosphere, with the running water, polka music, and lived-in feeling. Perhaps we should be counting our blessings! :lol:

The rest should be relatively easy compared to Tomorrowland - remove the carpets, rip out the new bird AAs and put the old music back in, refresh some AAs on the Jungle Cruise, general atmospheric touch-ups.

I don't get why SGE and MILF are the most complained about attractions. I agree that MILF doesn't fit the theme, and SGE was better as AE, but I still like both attractions. In my opinion the single biggest problem on Disney property is the Tomorrowland Speedway. That thing takes up so much space and is the only ride in existence that actually detracts from the experience of WDW when you're not even on it!

I agree. The Speedway is the one glaring thing in Tomorrowland that needs to go, well, that and SGE. MILF I enjoy and as long as a better explanation is given as to why it belongs in TL, then I think it should stay. However, these are more glaring issues:

1. Speedway Removal/1 or 2 new E Ticket Attractions added
2. BLSRS Refurb with plussing
3. CoP Refurb w New future scene
4. SGE Removal
5. Improved TTA narration/improved theming
6. Tomorrowland Stage Expansion Plot

Still, I think TL can hold it's own at least for now.

True, but is Adventureland really in need of a refurb? I just think it needs the carpets out and some slight strengthening of the adventure theme but it's pretty good. TL needs the fixing of the transition with FYL where the Speedway is, a new cohesive theme, change of TTA spiel, new attractions, refurb of some attractions, something for the Tomorrowland Stage, etc.

I wouldn't like this they did a terrible job with this in DL, the sinple inserted some non moving Tarzan figures in a few areas.

But OP, I agree with you. Those two attractions spoil Tomorrowland. All they need is retheming. Monster's Inc could definitely use some interior construction for a new attraction, but all SGE needs is some clever retheming. The show system is ingenious, I think. The preshows and main theaters are all very nice and lend themselves to really amazing shows. However, Stitch just doesn't do the real estate any justice.

4. Buzz SRS, should be either drastically updated or should go, imo there is no need for 2 Toy Story shooting rides in WDW.
5. TTA needs some work on the script.
6. COP needs to leave TL, in no longer fits in TL. EIther move it to Epcot for a progress themed pavilion, move it to Main street, or move it to DCA.
7. TL needs another E-ticket use the space where COP was and the space from the old Galaxy Theater.
8. SM still needs some work the lighting, and Audio effects could still be added at a later date.

I highly doubt they would do a Tarzan makeover for the MK Swiss Family Treehouse, as Tarzan happened a long time ago and wasn't nearly successful as it's earlier 1990s animated counterparts. If anything, the tree house may be enhanced for the Disney remake of Swiss Family Robinson.

Agreed and all they did in DL was slap some Tarzan figures in a few places. They didn't even change the music.

With the huge FL refurb/addition coming up, I don't see any way that any other area of the MK is going to receive a major overhaul any time soon. Maybe the Speedway will be removed to make room for the new FL? It is extremely outdated no matter how many fans it has.

I was in DL in May there TL is in much better shape, imo the only thing we have better is TTA.

I think TL would be fine if they just replaced the 2 attractions at the entrance of the land. I don't have a problem with any of the other attractions but these 2 should be replaced in the near future. IMO it hurts that they are right at the main entrance to the land.
