How far is the airport you usually fly out of from your home?

We're 45 minutes from San Diego International...which is the closest we've ever lived to a major airport. Make a lot of trips down there to pick up / drop off our family when they come to visit (just did it yesterday in fact).

In North Carolina we had a tiny little airport (OAJ) 30 minutes away with only 2 gates, but it was much less expensive to fly out of RDU, which was 2 1/2 hours away. That was a LONG drive through the middle of no where, and I hated it!

I'm 15 minutes from Louis Armstrong but I'd be willing to drive to Biloxi or Baton Rouge if I thought I could get a cheaper flight.

About 15-20 minutes to get to Buffalo/Niagara International from our house.

I'm 15 minutes from John Wayne/Orange County and 45 minutes from LAX. Much prefer JW.
