When I was younger in the 80's I used to take a 2 week road trip from Texas to WDW. It took 2 and half days to get there and back it was 3400 miles round trip. All by myself . Some of the best memories were except the last one. I had a 2 door car and took my brother and ex sister in law to the world took 2 and half days to get there we stayed 4 days. It was the worst trip I ever took not my brother just my ex sister in law. When coming home we were leaving it was 2 day before e Hurricane Andrew hit Florida and everyone was evacuating the state. Before we got on the highway. We stopped to get something to drink and my brother wanted to drive we get to the onramp and traffic is bumper to bumper because of the evacuation . Plus a semi trailer had jackknifed 5 miles ahead of us took 3 hrs just to get thru that . Then my brother who really had never learned how to relax wanted to get home in 24 hrs. We did it we all drove and when I got them home I threw their luggage out of the car and left their home and told myself no one will ever go with me on vacation again. Well, me and my partner have been together 12 yrs. this May and we have traveled from DC to WDW 2 times. The 1st time. While I was at AK 20 mins into the park the heat and humidity got to me I had a heart attack that day and ended up in Celebration hospital for 5 days. Best Care I have ever had as far as something like that. Disney was not at fault and I didn't sue. But we were due to check out of our hotel the next day after that happened . We were staying at the Wyndom Palace. Which has gone back to it's orginal name The Buena Vista Palace.Disney put him up in Port Orleans for the rest of the stay. And we had to drive back to DC. We live in Saint Petersburg Florida now it take anywhere from 90 mins to 2 hrs depending on the traffic and have been here 8 yrs and have been back 2 times in the last 8 yrs. Next yr were going to Orlando for a week. But will not be staying at Disney.

France... Too much miles, I can't say (And we use km anyway lol)
But from Paris to Walt Disney World, let's say about 14 hours of travel....

Wow...not too many out of the continental US. I wonder if we will get more offshore votes in the overnight hours.

Soooo jealous of those of you who are so close to WDW, but sooooo glad I'm not flying in from another country.
