How does Disney let this happen?

Anybody who is selling these is a CM, or they have purchased the passes from a CM. There is no way anybody can get multiple re-entry passes from an inconvenience. Its not a scam, but it shouldnt be allowed.

Attraction Re-Entry tickets are the best. When I worked in Tomorrowland, the CM's had access to literally thousands of these at a time. The only experience I had with the Attraction Ren-Entry tickets being handed out was when TTA would go down and it had to be Evac'd. When Buzz, Stitch, or Space went down guests were given a Re-Entry ticket for that specific attraction.

These tickets are totally different from FP's as they do not have an expiration date or time stamped on them. Also, these passes can be used at ANY MK attraction, not just FP attractions. When I was done working at WDW I had a stack of literally 200 - 300 of these attraction re-entery tickets. They have come in handy for me for my future trips and also when relatives and friends go and visit the MK park.

From what I have heard, if you go to Guest Relations at a different park you can exchange the MK passes for ones at that specific park. Also, these attraction re-entry tickets are good for when I go to a different park and I want to get Soarin' FP's or other popular attractions. :)

Reading your post just made me

I can't believe you don't find using those even a bit "low"

This is why Disney should just go back to the whole "wait in line" thing...its worked for quite a while and doesn't get people angry at others walking quickly by them

there are alot more things to get worked up about! Although surely there must be some policies in order to stop this?

If it's the sort of thing WDW wanted to stop, I'd guess actually printing the date on the re-entry pass, along with a color scheme for the paper (red paper on Mondays, Yellow on Tuesdays and so on) would go a long way towards preventing the abuse of these passes. I just don't know if it's enough of a problem yet that WDW wants to take any steps at all.

Hmmm....I wonder how much I could get for my glossy "YOAMD" certificate that says.."Congratulations, you found the key" and is signed by the Muppets Security.

Wait a minute. Are you saying whatever you don't hand out you're free to keep and use as your own? That doesn't sound right.

Wow chill out! It's not like I robbed someone of their vacation money. And as far as people being mad that others are getting on quickly while they stand and wait, Fast Pass is available to every single person who is in the park. If they choose not to use it, it's their own fault.

Disney does put dates on some of the Attraction Re-Entry/Baby Swap passes. Most of the dates range for about 7 - 10 days for the guest to use them. Which is fair considering the fact that they may not go back to the same park the very next day, or they have dining reservations and the ride will be closed by the time they are done.

I have seen dates on ToT, RnRC, and SM. This started up around 2005 when I was there. It seems that the major attractions are using dates, maybe they will have dates on all of them at some point.

Technically you are not free to keep them for yourself. However, ask any CM, past or present, and they will tell you they tend to pocket them. It's kind of like an extra perk for us. :D

I have even had managers see me take them and they just laughed. It's not like it's costing Disney anything, except for the printing costs. I personally NEVER sold them to anyone. I would keep them for myself and give some to my parents, friends, and other family members when they would visit the park.

There were even times when I was in the parks on my day off and I would give them to guests who I saw having a good time or guests that I started talking with that were nice. Speaking of which, even when I was working I would keep an eye out for a family and hand them out. And if guests were extra nice to me when I was working not only would I back door them, but I would give them a few of those passes.

So you see, not everyone is being "low" or however you want to state it, when it comes to these attraction re-enty tickets. It's just like all the other situations in this world, the bad ones ruin it for everybody.

Do you still pocket the fastpasses?
