Shhhhhh! If you tell everyone about the goat it won't work anymore!:lol:I'm pretty sure it involves getting a goat...someone should be along soon with more details.

Thanks - that's a rip off! I go every other year since it's opened and stay in Deluxe resorts and spend ALOT of money.

PIN codes are given out at random. If you have ever registered at the official site, gone to WDW, or requested a planning video you are in the pool to get a PIN code. Don't feel too bad about not getting one. I have been going to WDW at least once a year for 12 years and have never received a PIN code.
Which is probably why you're not getting PINs. They know you'll come anyway, and spend A LOT of money anyway. How does it benefit them to give you a discount to do something you've proven you'll do without one?
PINs aren't gifts, and they're not a reward for loyalty. They're meant to entice people to go to WDW, people who likely wouldn't have gone without a discount.
Well I did receive one a couple of months of course the name was completely wrong.....nothing even remotely close to anyone in my family and I am the only one to ever live in my house.:shrug:Very strange. For the last year or so now, I have received every single PIN offer I've ended up hearing about on here. Both through email and via postcard in the regular mail. I have no idea why I get them all.
Back to the OP's question, there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to who gets the codes. As long as you are signed up with Disney, you've at least got a chance with it.

Sometimes the reservations CM will see the discount attached to your name and apply it for you. And you're right, you can't book with a pin online, only by calling in or through a travel agent. My mom just received a pin code in her email with my name on it. A week ago, she called and reserved 2 rooms in July and both rooms received the free dining offer (she hadn't received the pin yet.) So the pin worked even before she got it and it had a different name on it. I doubt she would have been able to book online with the pin, but by calling it worked.

WOW! 40% off would be great! I got the free QS dining but I'm not going until November and don't really care about QS dining anyway. But I could certainly use that 40% off!I actually received 2 pin codes today!!! I was shocked! The first one was for free quick service dining good thru 8/14 and the 2nd one which I been hoping for % of our room for our December trip!!! I was for 20% off Values, 30% off moderates and 40% of Deluxes!!! I hoped right on that at upgraded from POP to AKL!!! So very excited!!! :sohappy:
