Hot Dogs

I will be going to the World in September and I am traveling with someone who has not been in over 20 years. We will be on the Deluxe Dining Plan and will receive two snacks per day. My question is this, do they sell hot dogs at the parks as a snack or an adult combo meal? I have been numerous times to Disney and didn't even pay attention to Hot Dogs on any of the menus or snack carts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a really good question. I have to admit that as many times as we have gone, always on the DDP we have never had hot dog as a snack.

When unsure, go by price. No snack is over $5. In Disney, I don't think there's a hot dog under $8. CitiField has the highest hot dog price in MLB ($6.25), so I know an overpriced dog when I see one. If you eat hot dogs between your sit downs, you may not make it to dinner. Deluxe heart attack.

While I've only ordered them as a kids meal...I've seen several reports that you can order mini-corndog nuggets from Casey's as a snack on DDP.

They are interesting...lots of different, 'exciting' options like chili, taco, chicago-style, and mac & cheese. I wouldn't eat them more than once during a trip, but if you're craving, go for it.

We like the ones sold at the kiosk outside of TSM at HS, I don't know if they'd be a snack CREDIT or not but I can assure you the are a tasty snack in and of themselves.

Disney hot dogs (well in this case only Casey's) were amazing when they were 100%. However, I recall back some years ago they went with the multi meat, and increased add on toppings and increased the price. I will say that Casey's is the best in terms of quality. But like burgers - the hot dog itself is base (just like the burger patty) everywhere on property.

Love Casey's Corner! We always grab a seat for the fireworks and send someone to pick up hotdogs and fries while we wait. Pretty sure you can't get a hotdog as a snack on the DDP though.

Well I love a dog from Caseys. And I agree with @HouCuseChickie that the dog in Germany is decent. I even like the dogs from the BW cart.
