So, just thinking about the foods you can eat at the World, and I was thinking why aren't there hot dog vendors at the World. I know there is Caseys and a few other actual restaurants that serve hot dogs. But I would love to be able to be walk up to a vendor in MK and ask for a dog with everything :slurp:

Even better if they could serve Nathans hot dogs, or try to duplicate a NY dirty water hot dog :slurp::slurp::slurp:

So, what are your thoughts on having hot dog vendors at the World???

I have gotten a hot dog off a cart in I believe it was frontierland

Yep there is one in Frontierland, opposite Pecos Bill. There was also one at AK in Asia, not sure if its still there. A lot of the carts are seasonal though.

Casey's is the only one that matters. If you want a dog at WDW, you should only think Casey's.... :D:D:D

Sometimes we get a craving for Casey's and next thing you know our calendar is cleared for the evening and we're on the way down eastbound I-4 for an impromtu dinner. Surely not the most economical of ideas...

too bad the fiance has class until 8 tonight! :brick:

There used to be on in Tomorrowland as well but now the Lunching Pad sells them instead. Love got quite a few hotdogs from the Tomorrowland cart over the years. It had very fickle hours of operation though and was as likely to be closed as open.

I'm pretty sure we go hot dogs from a cart in Liberty Square across from the "stocks". That was a few years ago but I remember the egrets coming around looking for a handout.

I believe that the carts are all rotator grill carts though, correct?

There are no carts that hold their dogs in hot water, soaking up the remains of their departed cousin dogs. Just as you cannot get a hot dog with, *gasp*, pork in it in WDW. Somehow "100% all beef" has become the rallying cry. Guess what, pork tastes good. They could at least sell dirty water pork/beef Sabrettes with onions in sauce from a pushcart on the strees of NY in DHS. That would be a start. They could also have a person next to them selling bootleg Disney DVD's on a blanket.

I love hot dogs too! My favorite are Smith's from Erie, PA, but I also like Nathan's, Hebrew National etc. etc. I feel like hot dogs went the way of the dinosaur when turkey legs were introduced into parks.

They do have hot dogs at the African Refreshment Post and Promenade Refreshments in the World Showcase. Gasparillas also offers hot dogs at the Grand Floridian.

Ironically Disneyland Paris has hotdogs all over the place in carts, in vending booths, and in specialty vending booths at both parks. They also have a Casey's so go figure. For the record, none of them taste like american hot dogs, but they are not bad for a pseudo-european equivalent.
