Hey, guys. I have had a ROUGH day so far. I'll spare you the details.

Betty, what changed with going from Manchester to MCO?

Also, I have $160 in SW credit that we aren't using. If any of you trying to book flights want it, let me know. It's good until 9/21/08. It would be great to get half the amount back, but whatever you can do is fine.

Southwest - it leaves Detroit at 11:30 am and arrives at 2 pm. The flight out of Orlando leaves at 12:15 and arrives at 3.

I was just on southwest's site and they said they could not book for October yet.
Where do I find that one you are talking about?

Thanks for the help also!

I am sorry about your day!!
Is it good if you book by 9/21 or if you flight is before that time?

This was in the Orlando Sentinel this morning:

Southwest Airlines, the top carrier at Orlando International Airport, said Wednesday it will trim its national route network in the face of rising fuel costs and a slowing economy, including some flights to Central Florida.

The schedule changes, which take effect May 10, will mean one less Southwest flight each day to Orlando from the following cities: Chicago; Cleveland; Detroit; Louisville, Ky.; and Manchester, N.H. The low-cost giant will, however, add an extra flight each day to Orlando from Philadelphia.

After the changes, Southwest says it will operate one flight a day each to Orlando from Cleveland, Detroit and Louisville; up to four a day from Manchester; up to seven a day from Chicago; and eight a day from Philadelphia.

I just looked through their current schedule. You won't be able to book with them yet, but right now, that's their schedule.

Hey, Katy! Thanks, sweets.

The flights have to be completed by 9/21.

Ack! That stinks. I wonder if they mean one less nonstop? Usually there are 4 nonstops, but several other connecting flightsl

hmmm...dang, wish I knew that an hour ago. Although I'm still planning the trip to see Bunny...so we can talk. :D Although I don't know 100% how it works, so we might need Betty to help mediate.

 'kay.

When I asked the SW agent how it worked, she said anyone could use the credit. I would just give you the confirmation number and the name on the reservation. (me) Then when you buy the ticket, you click "use ticketless travel funds" and enter the info. Then the amount of the credit is deducted from your fare. Easy!

Nibbs, all you would need to do is pay Kristin for the credits, and she would give you the confirmation numbers. I already arranged to buy Jenn's, so if you and Kristin want to do that, by all means go ahead.

Hmm...that does sound relatively easy. (Although sometimes I'm an idiot, so if anyone can screw it up, it's me! ) PM me and let me know how much you want for them.
