This game is going to overtime. I did not want this to happen. I would not mind it going to overtime, but I hate the fact that it's sudden death in overtime. I think both teams should have a chance to get the ball in overtime.

Every sport but hockey gets it wrong. Why do they hand the trophy to the owner? What the heck did he do, other than open his wallet? Handing it to him is basically saying "Congrats on spending money!" You hand it to the players!

It's like this...the man can't play. All his life he's dreamed of being the one to win the game...but he has no athletic abilities. So he gets rich and buys a team. And, damnit, that trophy is his. And everyone knows it's really the players but you know, where would they be if no one was willing to pay them millions of dollars to PLAY A GAME?

Actually, I take that back.
She might not be as young as I thought.

Congrats Jo!!

Time for me to go.

Hi Nicole! She is young, younger than you I'm sure. I answered a question she asked about the HSM 2 Pep Rally, right when we got back from our XMas trip. She mentioned "my Mom" and added that she's "slightly obsessed" with HSM. (no kidding ) In another thread she asked, "what to do with teens at WDW", then she said she IS a teen?! I'm guessing 13 or 14..... :D

Off to bed for me. Even thought tomorrow is a holiday I have to work. :(

Night, all!

Hockey's tradition blows away any other sport's. The Stanley Cup is handed to the captain of the team and it's his duty to take it to his teammates. All the players get their moment with the Cup before any executive touches it. And then, instead of sitting in the owner's trophy case, each player get a day to spend with the Cup any way he wants.
