Trip Report Holy Moly! 8 PEEPS and and alot of "come on!"

Off to bed after a very long day. These Royal rooms are great! Tomorrow, Magic Kingdom, The Holy Grail of all parks. My beloved Space Mountain, BTMRR, and Splash, all in great shape. Just so much to do and so little time that we actually missed all of Adventureland, holy crap!, Missed Adventureland!

Now this is our 5 year anniversary day, what a place to spend it at. Magic bands and FPS made, a great dinner at the remodeled California Grill later on, what more could one want. Let's get this day going.

Off to haunted Mansion, one of my favorites, with a stop at the Christmas shop. No wait! Wow! Once again, i missed all the fabulous queue features, but oh well, get what I can, right? Can't complain of no lines.

I love how my two kids look like the statues at Haunted Mansion, they di not like me too much for the reference, but it's true. My in-laws really liked this ride, a start to many they would enjoy. Looking back now, Magic Kingdom was in really good shape, and we had a great day there, just too bad we missed Adventureland, just not enough time. Move on with HM. Pics are out of sync here, but look in this picture, the hidden Mickey plates are there! First time ever seeing these.

Of course, time for a bathroom break, so why not the new Rapunzel ones. I have to say, pretty nice. What a beautiful area now, and the tie in between FL and Frontier land looked really good, well hidden. After a quick trip here, it is on to Small World, now if it were up to my kids and wife, we would have not done this, but I like it and my in laws really wanted to see it. Afterwards, I think everyone sort of liked it, but I dont care, because I do.

Peter pan with FP+, ten minutes, and away we go. What a great attraction, it does need some cleaning though. It just seemed a little beat up. Up and away!

Time to waste, so let me get some pics of the castle, walk around, and go right into Philharmagic. Probably the best of all the 3D movies, realy great effects, picture quality was clear, and such a comfortable place to sit down and relax for a few minutes. The theater was empty, so we could sit anywhere.

Time for Big Thunder And Splash mountains, with a few pics on the way. I love walking the wood piers, less crowded and shaded. But of course, another bathroom break, come on, really, you just went 30 minutes ago. No wonder I didnt get to Adventureland, pee breaks. Thank goodness we didnt drive to Florida.

Now this is the first time I have been on a coaster with dad, but it was hilarious, all he did was go "whoo, Whooo" my wife was laughing her off, and all I can do is go for the ride and laugh with them. It was great to see him have such a good time and get his youth going again. Thanks WDW, that is what it is all about! Being a kid again.

Splash Mountain, no wait, nothing had a a wait that i can remember. Anyway, Splash was in really good shape, it seemed that everything was working, now I'm no expert on attractions, but I do keep up on here, and like I said, it was pretty good. Could hear everything, and did not see AA's not working, and I was looking. Dad loved this one as well. If only my mother in law could do these things, but a bad back, hey, she trooped it hard and was against any scooter, now that is a determined woman.

Time for lunch, Cosmic Rays and the famous topping bar, which was scaled back from what I remember. No sauteed mushrooms, onions, or banana peppers, what? When did this happen? Still a great place to eat, especially if you sit outside with the castle view. It was hot that day, but it felt comfortable out there. A nice breeze and views, nothing better at lunch time in MK.

Another day off, and another update. Another great day here in Cleveland Ohio, 65 degrees and sunny, but that will all come to an end in two days, then 45 and rain. Oh well, back in time to September in WDW.

Only 8 years old and already driving, crap! At least papa was teaching her and not me. I still love Tomorrowland, so much to see and do, and we never seem to fit it all in. No Astro Orbiter this year, thats my favorite, what views, oh well not to be this year. Onto Space! Or into Space?
