HKDL gets new castle, frozen land and marvel land.

Will paint the night and other parades be running? It just says on the Disney Parks Blog that Close character interaction will be suspended? Are parades under that caategory?

The official webpage says “Character experiences will also be adjusted during appearances to take photos at a distance. Some interactive experiences including parades, close interactions and close-up photos with characters will be suspended during the initial phase of reopening.”

They have been running a lot of parade rehearsals with cast members as guests to test physical distancing though.

while outdoor group gathering ban of 50 people will be extended for 14 more days

normally indoor group gathering ban will remain longer due to the poor ventilation
so its kinda obvious that the government would like to use the ban to stop people from protesting

i never saw the test boats in Shanghai but these boats look themed so i guess they are probably the final boats. The big holes on the side though look like they aren’t finished so maybe mouldings etc will be added after testing before opening

It might be the overcast sky, but the castle doesn't look half-bad from Main Street, U.S.A. It actually blends well with the existing buildings in that area. But, I think it looks bad as you enter the hub and leave Main Street behind.

Let's just hope for the 25th Anniversary of HKDL in 2030, the castle will receive a color scheme similar to the original concept art, or heck, even the one they're doing to Cinderella Castle for WDW's 50th.

So no more Vikings style boat? Maybe the imagineer thinks the stem post is blocking the view?
Also, the Orlando’s version has bumper at the base of the boat while the hkdl’s version has those rubber bumper on the body of the boat, which is kind of an eyesore. Hopefully there is a strong reason for that. (To accommodate for a steeper drop?)
