HISTK play area and Backlot Tour

Um...I don't know if it was joking or in relation to DCA changes...but I believe they just spent a good enough money giving us the first taste of pixar place.

Yeah, but DCA needs placemaking and new attractions like there's no tomorrow. DHS is still quite a stable park (if the weakest of the WDW Fab Four), and Disney can't afford to build huge attraction after huge attraction while the other three parks stagnate, particularly MK.

I assumed that he/she was complaining ...like many do about the fact the DCA is getting all the money...and for that reason is why disney isn't doing anything as huge like it. I agree that DCA needs soo much work. And I'm glad the new stuff that is coming there...and people get jealous that fact that they are getting updates...I was saying that WDW just spent alot of money working on a whole new area to DHS...that people need to be happy for at least 5 minutes before saying disney needs to work faster. (which I think they are working at a fine pace) Everyone is always trying to prodict the new best thing or complain about a rumor about the next best thing...and don't enjoy the amazing attractions that are already there...sorry I'm going off topic....But, What do you mean about the other three parks stagnate and particularly MK...you mean in new attractions or amount of guests??:veryconfu

We are just looking ahead, thats all. No complaints!

I think the Backlot Tour is way overdue for either being totally revamped, or just eliminated all together so theyr can use the space for something else (<--my vote!)

Agree! ...You maybe not complaining...but I'm talking about the ones who bash the new rides and say that they need to do a new ride quick. But everyone has the right to their own opinon:animwink:

Way to be a jerk! im sorry that i have a life and i dont have time to edit my posts, but i have other things to do.

I'm pretty sure he was just poking fun. But with that being said, proper capitalization, grammar and posting etiquette is something else he or others could "target" you with. Plus, it makes your posts hard to look at and/or read without straining (I know my eyes hurt after reading posts like the one above). Please take the little time necessary to post the right way the first time, so you don't have to take the time to edit the post again. Edits are there for the purpose of necessity, not for convenience.

Again, I'm not trying to be rude, but for someone with poor vision and a grammar-strained brain, I needed to speak for myself and say where it hurts...

MK has a host of attractions in dire need of some TLC and hasn't had an E-Ticket ride since 1992. While some of these rides are being refurbished now (HM, IASW), if all the money is going towards DHS, MK will have nothing new to do and a host of battered rides, with a long-term effect of decreasing attendance. The same is true of Epcot and AK to a lesser degree.

Hello, my name is Fun2BFree.

While the first one is greatly exaggerated, which do you feel is easier to read?

Re-read your attempt at a sentence and realize that you make no sense--and come off sounding like a forum troll. I wear glasses and it still is a strain to try and read what you make to be an English student's worst nightmare.

Back to the point of the topic, the plan will eventually be to expand Pixar Place outwards. The gates will move with the expansions that folllow. Mind you, the expansions will only go back to the front of the backlot tour entrance (and maybe a little bit of the tour route). The Streets of America will be separated from the larger Pixar Place by Lights, Motors, Action and the rest of the streets will remain untouched.

Remember that most of the work on Pixar Place will take a while, with the next addition to be in Studio 1. After that, there should be a bit of a pause on Pixar Place so that several other areas of the park can be facelifted. The park is going to be getting lots of attention over the next five years. Idol and Toy Story Mania are just the start of a long process to revive the aging park.

Please tell me you tried this!

Oh and by the way, I have a life too but I still take the time to make sure my posts are grammatically correct! It's just common courtesy for your fellow forum reader!

After MK, DHS is my favorite park. I think what draws me to it is the fact that I "used" to be a communications major and enjoy the making of television and behind the scenes work. I LOVE the Pixar movies but I think that the park is steering away from its true intentions. Although the Backlot may need some TLC and updating of some current movies to stem more interest, I think it is a great part of a behind the scenes tour. Like the motor show, it needs to be there to offer a taste of Hollywood. I remember years ago it used to be more that way and should continue to showcase this. Some want the Indiana Jones show to disappear, too. While I feel that could use a new twist, it also offers what it is like on a movie set.

I don't think it would be a good idea to get rid of the backlot tour, just spruce it up. At DHS to me it is kinda like an interactive theme park where the guest are allowed to participate in the shows. Like in Indy and the Pearl Harbor part of the Backlot Tour. As for HISTK it should be revamped into A Bug's Life Playground because how many of your children (if you have them) know what Honey I Shrunk The Kids is (I bet not alot). and plus HISTK's is geared towards children anyways.

Hmm. i think when you say I'm the sound you make is Im, so if i dont add an ', you should still be able to at least sound it out, you should be able to read any word with ' if it doesnt have one and it should, just sound it out!

Example

Im confused i dont know what to do. The teacher didnt tell me.

I'm confused i don't know what to do. The teacher did'nt tell me.

They read the same to me.

Ok, what I did was not capitlize my I's and use '. I didnt get all into spelling all the words with slang. And it has been proven that as long as the first and last letter word are in place, you should be able to read it.
