My Dumbo was green. I like to get the green teacups and green Dumbos, so I was happy to soar high above Fantasyland in my elephant!

Then I worked, yes it was a tough job ;), on going on the rest of the Fantasyland attractions. So I went to visit Mr. Toad.

Then Pinocchio and Snow White, and no luck pulling the Sword out of the Stone.

And a spin on the carousel. I really am bad at the selfie thing, sometimes I look at the camera, sometimes not.

Next, time for tea! Tea cups! These ones don't spin as well as WDW's so I just sit back and relax.

I just love the Tea Cup area at DL!

I wandered through the Candy Palace next and enjoyed the little Easter displays.

I ran into yet one more musical group on Main Street.

And browsed one of the shops.

Then I headed over to California Adventure to have lunch. My lunch was going to be snacking my way through some of the Food and Wine Stands.

I also got a better daytime glimpse of the new Guardians Tower.

Coming up: my tour of the west coast's version of Food and Wine.

Agree on the musical acts at DL!

Jason, nobody cares.

Sorry - I hate the GotG tower. I really enjoyed the vibe and the art-deco look of the old ToT at DCA. Not as good as the Orlando version but better than I expected.

After helping lead the Rebellion on Hyperspace Mt. I wandered back to Fantasyland. I thought about the subs, but they are too cramped for me but they are pretty to look at.

I silently mourned not being able to ride the Matterhorn as it was down for a refurb. But I noticed more beautiful flowers nearby.

The Storybook Boat line had gotten a little long so I kept going to small world. When I got in line the cast member said I would have my own boat. I was so excited. But by the time my boat came and the people finally figured out how to get out of the boat (the exited towards me!) other people had arrived and were now put in my boat. And I was treated to a mom and dad talking the whole time about their everyday lives and some guy named Jason and why he continues to coach wrestling and football. It made me mad, and the irony was not lost on me that I was on a ride promoting peace and world harmony all the while I was getting more and more irritated. I suppose I should have said something but I do not like confrontation. I did shoot them a few looks and I think at one point I muttered who cares about Jason. Even though I'm only sharing a few pictures, I did end up taking a lot of pictures, it helped me tune them out. The parts they were quiet I did enjoy. Later in the trip I truly would be on the happiest cruise that ever sailed.

Okay, that is it for me tonight. I keep mistyping simple words. Time to sleep!
Wow, I had no idea that Small World loaded outdoors at Disneyland!

It's kinda rough on hot days. I had no idea about it either until I was in line.

I like that small world loads outside. It would be a little brutal in the main heat of the day in the summer but I tend to go either early in the morning or at night. At Christmas it is all lit up and is just breathtaking.

I'm still on the fence about the GOTG tower but I guess it is going to happen. I do like the Guardians films so the ride might be interesting. But if they ever change the Orlando one.....I might have some words for Disney then. (not that they would listen to me)

After my nap and quasi pool time (I just soaked my toes in the pool, because I forgot to pack my swimsuit!), I headed back over to Disneyland.

Around the time I entered the park I saw it was nearing a start time for Mickey and the Magical Map. I think it is a fantastic show so I made my way to the back of the park for that. I think the show has fantastic songs and of course Mickey is in it so it must be great!

As I was watching the show I looked around a little at some of the people in the crowd and a couple rows in front of me was this couple. I thought their shirts were hilarious, so I took a picture to show hubby who was back at home.

Funny, having been to DL 4 times before I ever went to WDW, I thought it was kinda' weird that the WDW version loaded inside...!!! :hilarious:
Of course, with the spring/summer storms that happen in central Florida, I could see why it was done.
But, then again, the teacups in Florida were uncovered, at first...! :)

I don't think I've ever seen that picture of the teacups before. It looks so much different than it does now. Cool and weird all at the same time.

So I decided to ride Autopia. It had just a 20 minute wait and I wanted to see the new figures that were recently put in. Autopia is much more scenic than the Tomorrowland Speedway. I liked some of the new scenes but I did miss some of the old cars that had been on the route.

Some of the new little video scenes in the queue.

I guess Robots fly kites?

Twisting twirly roads..

And I was predicting that the ride would be ending soon, and then I saw this bright sign. It was very intriguing and I got enraptured with the scene that I forgot to pay attention and I went careening right into the car in front of me. I was really a bad bang, I felt so bad that I yelled out "I'm sorry!". I don't know if the girl in front of me heard but I really was sorry for bumping her car so hard.

I'll remember this next time.

It was almost time for the Soundsational parade. As I walked into the hub from Tomorrowland and down Main Street it was packed. I highly doubted I would get even a decent second row view. I went down to the train station and lo and behold the whole street sidewalk directly across from the train station was empty! It was all in the sun but so was a lot of what was taken on Main Street. So I was curbside with a great spot! Eventually more people filled in the space, but it didn't fill until after the parade had started.

This is my favorite parade (daytime) of all time. I just love the music and the floats are so nice and bright. It is fantastic!

I love that Mickey actually plays the drums too!

For some reason the parade stalled for about 3-4 minutes with the Princess float. I felt bad for them, especially Snow White as she had to stand in the full sun, but they all stayed in character and kept those smiles pasted on their faces.

I was doing a Facebook Live for hubby and taking pictures at the same time. My camera slipped a little and I got this which I though turned out kind of cool.

I really enjoyed watching the chimney sweeps this time. They are always good, but today they seemed to have a little more spunk.

After Soundsational there was about 20-30 minutes until the Flag Retreat. That is always nice to watch so that will be coming up....
