Hi guys! I'm new..........

Hi everyone! I am new to this board, but I have been watching it for quite a while. I have been going to WDW twice a year since I was 5 in 1976. I have to say that I have seen tons of changes, some good and some not so good.

I cannot believe that they have ditched some awesome attractions over the years, (20,000 Leagues to name one). I have also been an annual pass holder since 2002. My parents now own a home within 20 minutes of WDW, so it's cheaper for us to go several times a year from North Carolina.

Again just wanted to say hello and glad to be aboard!

I remember 20K as a kid being only "okay", but not something that I miss. By today's standards I don't think it holds up like the other Disney classic dark rides and attractions.

So to me that they are finally doing something with the space is good news

Welcome SpaceMickey, I agree that there has been some sad changes, but after I think about them I do understand that parks like WDW have to continually change, add & take away, to keep younger generations coming and older generations coming back. I also miss 20,00 leagues under the sea. I only got to ride it once. I thank god that I was able to video tape the ride when I was on it. But there are so many good changes, I love going to WDW.
