Hess to replace Exxon at WDW

The three gas station on Disney propery are now going to be Hess. I do not know how it is going to affect the Universe of Energy but did see this sign near the attraction.

I wonder if Hess will take on sponsorship of the Universe of Energy. I wouldn't be surprised if they do though.

I hope they take over the sponsership of UoE. It's one of my favorites at Epcot and I would hate to see it leave because of lack of sponsership.

Interesting news... there was a rumor that BP would take over, but that now is obviously not the case. UOE's prolly going to get all XOM signage taken out now, eh? Hess has to be the new sponsor...

I can see it now, first hess replaces those gas stations, then they repleace the sponsorship, then "remembers cristmas gingle"

they put out the Disney matinence truck for chirstmas....

Trust me - I dont. But them I'm over in England. When I hear "Hess", I think "Rudolf". Not a natural combination for Disney World :veryconfu

It's werid that Hess would replace Exxon/Mobil I thought disney only got the biggest companies in there markets. Like VISA, Coca-Cola, NESTLES, ATT, etc.

Same here, not that I like to buy my gas on property but sometimes I am on empty and have to get some gas, and I am not going inside with my costume on. Hess is also the official gas station of Universal.

Hess.. good gas prices, and good pizza in their gas stations... also strange, since they don't buy their gas from the middle east.

They might hike up the prices, but they're still cheaper than most of us are paying in our hometowns!

I can confirm that there are at least two Hess locations in Rhode Island that I've seen, and probably more.

I went to two different Exxon's on property this weekend and noticed the shelfs were empty. I got the information that is was going to be Hess from the person working at the counter at the gas station.
