Guess what people...Ashlee is not the 1st person to lipsynch...nor she will be the last....she is just the one to get caught...I think all of this is being overblown because some tech guy screwed up on snl...which caused her to try and prove she could sing..Personally I'm not an Ashlee Fan..but I do feel bad for her...I don't think she is making these choices...something tells me daddy manager had one going after the Brittney Spears Market(Jessica) while pushing the other towards the Avril Lavinge market(Ashlee).

There have been some mentions by many that Jessica Simpson can sing..personally I think her voice is overrated..it's much too nassally.

By the way I don't care for any of the artisits I mentioned above...My music tastes is more along the lines of Modest Mouse, U2, Coldplay, and Evanesence(if you want a female with a voice check out Amy Lee)among others.

Now Amy Lee can sing. No faking it by her live. When I saw Evanescence live, her mic's battery went down during Bring Me To Life and we (the audience) couldn't hear her at all. What a great show that was!!! If you ever get a chance to see Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether or Evanescence live, I highly recommend seeing them.

Oh, sorry about that. You just kind of made it seem like you really liked them. I agree completely on the Napster thing, though. I didn't like them much to being with, but I completely disliked them after all that. *sigh* I miss free Napster.

They are one band I like. Up until after the Black Album, they were the band. They have since slipped, IMHO.

Coming from a Beatles fan, I just don't like alot that is out there now. Sure there is some, but nothing I would spend $15.99 on. I already have all the Van Halen, Beatles, Michael W Smith, and Broadway Show :lookaroun discs I need.

But if someone downloads a whole album, don't you think they would burn it to the CD the way it is when you buy it at the store? That's what I do when I downloaded whole albums.

If thats the case, then I wouldn't care and I doubt they would care either... but thats NOT what the masses are doing. Kudos to you for doing that. I personally don't burn my music unless its from some candy pop singer that I wouldn't dare be caught buying the music... if its a band I consider to be worthy of me, like Pink Floyd and Metallica, I'd rather spend the money.

Three Days Grace was AWFUL in Calgary. Simply awful. It makes me cringe to think about it.

Well, it's not really her fault she messed up. She had terrible throat problems that day (caused by her acid reflux, they believe). She was fine days before that, and her show proves all these events. It got bad the night before (Friday) until her last rehearsal when her vocals went completley out. Yet, she still wanted to perform to make the people happy, but due to her health, she was FORCED to lip-sync. I know I'd rather see her, and hear a clear track, then listen to her try to sing when she can't because she is ill. People are making such a big deal out of this anwyays. They act like it's the ONLY lip-singer in history. It's rather pathetic if you ask me...

To be honest, I highly doubt that story is true. After it cut to a commercial break, Ashlee said her apoligies blaming it on her band, and her voice sounded quite fine.

That story is true, and I didn't say she blamed it on her band. She couldn't sing because of her sickness, as she said on her show last week and has said since the incident occured yet it seems no one believes her.

People get a grip, there isn't a group/band that does not lip synch anymore every single singer/group lip synchs Geeze anyone ever hear of Millie Vanillie? I still have their albums lol! All you people are doing is punishing this girl for doing what every band allready does! :lol: If you ask me I think the whole SNL stunt was planned so to ruin her carear.IF I was her I would sue SNL. Here's the deal.

I KNOW THAT OTHER PEOPLE LIP SYNCH! It is truly NOT about lip synching anymore.

First and foremost, Ashlee can not sing live. Even when she attempts to sing without backing aids, she is completely UNABLE to match the vocal quality of her recordings. In fact, she can not even come close.

Secondly, as I mentioned, Ms. Simpson claimed in an interview with "Lucky" magazine that she would NEVER lip synch or sing with vocal aids. If her voice was SO bad, you simply DO NOT PERFORM. I'd much rather not sing than have to go through HUGE embarrasment that the SNL event caused.

Third, if Acid Reflux is that much of a problem, then singing SHOULD NOT be your desired profession. Get an education and find something your good at.

Finally, I beg of people not to gather their information from MTV or the Ashlee Simpson Show in regards to the "truth." Both are products used to SUPPORT Simpson. Thus, the show is a very slanted account of the truth. In fact, MTV re-filmed some of the footage used in the SNL studio weeks AFTER the events occurred!

She's a liar, she's lazy, and worst of all, she claims to be an "artist." What a joke!

Ashlee's average fan is 17 and under. She's warping today's youth to buy a flimsy and unoriginal product. I really just want her to "lala" off.
