Help needed from some Epcot fans

Hello everyone,

I need a favor, or some advice from all of you great WDW Magic friends

A family member has recently found out that she has cancer, and due to the treatments that she needs she has lost her hair, and her head is quite sore. Now for the WDW side of the story, a few years back in the China pavillion my mom contemplated for sometime about purchasing one of the large 100% silk scarves that they sell. She put it back several times as she wasn't sure what she was going to use it for, but after some time she decided that she really needed to buy it. Now years later the scarf has been sent to my aunt. It is the only head cover she has been able to use that is comfortable. The scarf is approximately 30" by 30". Does anyone know if there is a way to call the China Pavillion and see if we can purchase a couple more scarves? Is there anyway to get a upc or sku or something to order her some? She and her family are also huge WDW fans, and had to cancel their trip in late July as she started treatments on July 7. I know it would mean the world to her to have some more of these scarves.

Any information from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how to get the scarf but I wanted you to know that you and your Aunt will be in my prayers. Bless you all on this journey and keep postive thoughts!

I can't help you with the scarves either, but just wanted to offer you and her a huge hug. I can tell you that her head will feel better once her hair starts coming back, and it's really sweet of you to do this for her! :kiss:

Thanks everyone for the information, prayers, thoughts, and advice.

I can't tell you how much that means to us. We are keeping our thoughts very positive and your support is very helpful.

I will contact Disney tomorrow and see if the scarves are still available. I will be happy to keep you posted on my progress. We will tell her about all of your kind thoughts and prayers. She truly needs any and all prayers and positive thoughts. She is married and has two children, and is determined to beat this!

I am going to epcot tomorrow and I will make my way to china and see if I can find the item you are talking about. I will also ask about shipping and see if they have some kind of phone number for you. I would also guess that the wdw mail order number from the previous post may work as well. I will post a update sometime tomorrow evening. My prayers are with your family.

Just wanted to write another thank you for everything that you have done Wayneway. Your find is going to help her a lot. I know she and her family will be so thankful. We are thankful too. As usual the WDW Magic Family has done what I thought may be impossible. Many thanks to you!

Hello everyone,

We are going to go and see her on Saturday and show her the WDW Magic website and all of your well wishes. I know it is going to strengthen her and she will appreciate all of your wonderful thoughts and prayers.

She has been a Disney fan since she was a child and it was still the "Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights. We can't tell you all what a blessing it is to all of us to know that others care and are praying for her and us.
