Thank you and everyone else who are wishing me well in my new adventure.

I am going back to work for the military as a paralegal again. It has been 7 years since I have done any legal work so it will be a learning experience for awhile. It is only a term position (15 months).
I had interviewed for a similar position earlier this year and didn't get the job, when this position opened up, the attorney heard I was looking and since we worked together before she tracked down my number and called me to see if I was still interested. Since I met the qualifications for the position they didn't have to put it out for bid. They could give me the job which is what I have been waiting on since I submitted my paper work two weeks ago. They finally called today to give me a start date (October 27th). I am so excited. George and I really needed this news with the stress of higher heating costs and other potential problems without having a pay check.

I have been wanting to tell you all the great news earlier, but feared that I would get a call saying they made a mistake and will hire someone else. I have been sweating bullets awaiting this call today.

I am sorry I haven't been keeping up with everyone, hope you are all doing great. And next chance I get on and someone is around (nibbs?) could give me the run down on everyone.

but honestly man... Awesome.

I'm very happy for you man! That's great!!!

my company unfortunately is having layoffs tomorrow... and I'm terrified... HORRIFIED...

annnnnnd i did the dumbest thing of all time tonight.. which sorry guys i cant share...

Oh my god, I'm dead. We had dance rehearsals for the Cabaret tonight. And I still have to study for midterms.

Okay, first, no matter how dumb you think what you did is (and I am assuming it is Allie related) I can guarantee you I have done something as dumb if not dumber in the name of love. Unfortunately, it's part of the process. So chin up, love.

Second, I will keep you in my prayers today - I know you're nervous about work. I am sure everything will be fine, but will pray just in case (certainly can't hurt!)

It was dumb though. It was dumb because I went through a lot of pain I didn't need...

I need to snap out of this. This is hands down the worst yet... I mean I honestly felt like at least the worst was behind me and as bad as anything was I'd been through it already...

this is like my previous worse x 10000000 right now...

I can't snap out of it... and I can't function/eat/drink/sleep (I legitimately didn't get even one single minute of sleep last night)

I don't know what my friggin problem is...

I can't stop wondering what her friggin problem is... how can you in that short a time frame go from wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone to never seeing them again... HOW CAN SOMEONE DO THAT?!?!?!

Sweetie...I'm telling you...you may not really think it, but she had to have checked out of the relationship a while back. Long before you could have ever known.

But I'm not ready for one! :lol: Definitely know that. Kinda freaking out about the whole thing right now...so, definitely not ready.
