She is precious...such a sweetie!

But I'm not ready for one! Definitely know that. Kinda freaking out about the whole thing right now...so, definitely not ready.

Why are you freaking out?? Being an aunt is great!! You can give them BACK! That's the best part! You can spoil her rotten :D

You'll never be "ready" - but this will help build up your confidence levels. The more you help out and interact, the more you can see that you'll be able to handle it when your time comes.

(I love how she went from 4 to 1 that quickly... But it'll pass. There's a wonderful thing called "mommy amnesia" that lets us forget all the bad parts and remember all the good ones. The world would be populated by only children if that wasn't the case!)

It is a LOT LOT LOT of hard work, starting with the whole ordeal your poor SIL just went through. I don't blame you for being freaked out, I'm freaked out about doing it again. It's such a life changer - honestly, if I had thought too much about it I probably never would have done it. Take your time, enjoy life with WHF, spoil little KAtie and give her back when you're done!

Oh...no...I was freaking out about the birth part!

I'm sure that this will build both mine and WHF's confidence tremendously about having kids though.

Yeah...actually originally when WHF's brother met her, she wanted 6!

((Hugs)) for you...I hate knowing that you'll have to go through all that in just a few short weeks. :(

I definitely plan on taking my time though...that's one thing I've majorly learned through all this...I have plenty of time...no need to rush the process.

Back for a minute....

I will probably never get to be an aunt, well to a child anyway. My brother is dating a girl who has a son in high school and neither want to have more kids. But they are so great together and we all have so much fun it doesn't matter really.

I am a long way away from being a mom, but I really look forward to that part of my future. My life's ambition has always been to be a mom.

Finally started the TR. I am so ready to go back.

Ps- Big (((HUGS))) Joe!

Nibbs I had 5 and the first one scared me to death. Then I had Corey 3 months premie. Was told never to have any more. Then 10 years later I had 3 more. Love them all. Wouldn't give up any of them.

Thanks. I am not ready now anyway.

I am so mad at my stupid camera- PS. I am looking at new ones. I uploaded all of my pictures and maybe 1/3 are actually good quality.
I know what you mean...mine is starting to cause me problems...it's having some major troubles focusing. I tried to take a pic of the baby's feet last night and it wouldn't focus at all.

So...the question I don't get people asking at work...

Customer: What time are you open until?
Me: 7
Customer: Ok, I'll be there in 10 minutes.

Wait...what? Why are you calling? I can see if you were checking to see if we were there now and asked, but why ask how late we're here til if you're coming right now in the middle of the afternoon? And it's after lunch time...so even if we went to lunch (which we don't)...we'd be back by now. I just don't get that...especially when there are other ways to phrase it that are better.

guilty.

I do that. I think it is because I have other things I can get done now but if you close at a certain time then it would be better if I drop things now and get there.:lookaroun

The 2 months I worked retail, it always killed me the people coming in at 8:58 when we closed at 9:00.

I did hear more than once last week "What time is the 3 o'clock parade?" :ROFLOL:
