My team never made the playoffs....I don't really care who wins...just hoping for some good close games....no blow outs or sweeps

As much as I like baseball, I just can't get interested if my team isn't playing. So right now my sport is football (with hockey once in awhile).

Good morning dahlings!

Went to Mom's for what I thought was a demonstration last night. Wrong...it was a baby shower!!! My mom's like, "Were you really surprised?". I'm like, "I showed up wearing pajamas. What do you think?".

Really, I can't believe I fell for it. I hate demonstrations and rarely go but I figured I had to since my mom does everything I ever ask her to. I mean, I actually walked out my front door and walked back in to get my checkbook because I figured I had to buy something. And then I pull into her driveway and I'm thinking "Wow, she got a helluva turnout for a Friday night kids clothes demonstration. What a bunch of losers." JK about the losers part...my mom has a really loyal following so I just assumed all her gang were there to support her.

Anyways, it was really great and I was totally shocked. Everyone was so generous and the Wee Jack has got quite the nifty start from the whole affair. Have to blog about it later - did receive one gift that was shockingly un-PC, which made me laugh and worry at the same time.

I'm around today, since I have vowed not to leave the house in order to complete some of the things on my list.

Good morning.....

Doing bills here - trying to catch up. How do working moms do this? I got nothing done all week and now my house looks like an F5 tornado hit it. Didn't cook all week, laundry is everywhere...oy! :dazzle:
