Have you ever got stuck on a ride because it stopped, if yes how long?

It's a shame to hear that, but sadly, that happens sometimes @ parks. I got stuck on Spaceship Earth for over 30 minutes (near the top). The lights came on and we had to WALK down...it was over 200 feet. When we got down the CM didn't say anything. I made a remark about not even getting a free soda and he laughed. I wrote Disney and they sent 2 free 1-day park hoppers.

I would love to be able to do that! Except for the waiting 30 minutes part.
It's true that cast members are more rude than they used to be. Disney doesn't respect them any more, so they don't respect Disney.

I remember grad night at DL and being on PotC and some doof jumped out of the boat at the treasure scene and started grabbing gold coins. The boat lurched to a stop, the lights came on, and the guy tried to jump back in the boat but, was grabbed by the security guards, who came out of nowhere.

Also, I was stuck on SM in WDW at the top and the lights came on so you could see everything. It was neat to see it all lit up for a couple of minutes. Then it started again and off we went.

TestTrack in the COLD ROOM

One cold winter day, yes we do have them down here. I had on a brand new suede Epcot millenium jacket and Test track stopped in the cold room. The AC vents above us dripped on us for about 10 minutes before they got us going. We did get a couple of front of the line passes our of it. But man that was a cold 10 minutes

We once got stuck on the "Maelstrom". The boat stopped as it was going backwards just after you go past the polar bears. The really nice thing was that the entire ride had to shut down so a CM directed us out of the boat and through a door to an outside fire escape (we were on the second floor). We climbed down the metal stairs "backstage" and got to see a bus loading area and some dumpsters in back of the building. I think the bus was used to transport CM's from Epcot to The Commons.

Nope, those busses you saw are at the Cast Services building at Epcot - for interpark CM transport.

One goes to East Park (Wonders, Energy, Front Gate, Kennels) and the other does "West Park" which is all of World Showcase and then Imagination, Land, and Seas.
