Have you ever got stuck on a ride because it stopped, if yes how long?

Ugh, that had to be horrible. I freak out if that ride stops for more than 30 seconds. I was @ Spalsh Mountain a few weeks after it opened and got stuck in line for about 15 min when it broke down. It was HORRIBLE!!!

and SM for 30 minutes would drive me crazy too...the least they could do is turn down the music and not keep it at full blast!

I have never been stuck on a ride. My friend on the otherhand has. It was on Pirates of the Carribean. I don't know how long he was stuck though. He is a red head. They were at the point were they said" We want the red head". They kept saying it over and over again.

My hubby and son got stuck on Splash Mountain for 25 minutes as it was going up the hill! The people sitting in the seat behind them was just about to get out and start walking because they had reservations a Cinderella's castle when the ride started again.

Im sorry to tell you this, but there is know loop in "Test Track". I got stuck on T&T for 5 minutes.

I got stuck on the Matterhorn once. It was at te loading station. I guessed there was a builup of trains coming in so we had to push over tothe side of the track for about 10 minutes. We got to go around again though.

The worst place I ever got stuck on a ride (and I miss this one) is in Horizons at the Diving Scene with little Scott and the seal. When the ride opened, we got stuck there several times for up to 30 min at a time. I can still hear it in my head:
"Stay in your group and don't horse around. Don't even seahorse around."

I have also gotten stuck going down Spaceship Earth backwards.

On Grad Night, BTMR broke down three consecutive rides and we got to keep riding it over and over.

When EPCOT opened, The Universe of Energy kept breaking down. Twice on the weekend we came, we saw the preshow, but were unable to go see the dinosaurs.

We got stuck on "It's a small world" for about 40 minutes. The ride broke down but the music DIDN'T!!! I thought I was going to go MAD!!

We had to "rescue" ourselves by pulling our boat along by grabbing the track under the water. The people in the boat in front of us had no idea that the ride was broken. As we pulled our boat along we bumped into their boat. Now we had to pull our boat along and push theirs!! They didn't even help. When we got to the area where you get off, they were still sending the boats out!

on PotC for about 5 min or so, near the end of the ride anyway and a few years ago (Disneyland) in HM right at Madame Leota's seance area for about 10 minutes. My son sat a shook like a little puppy, he was pretty scared.

Buzz lightyear space ranger spin. It wasnt so bad untill i got all the points they would let me and then a was annoyed. Maybe 20 minutes

The noise....any thing but the that loud noise. They play it when you are going up the second lift hill.

I got stuck on the Tower of Terror right before the car was going to enter the elevator shaft. Talk about pitch black too, we were there for 15 minutes

Hmmm........the longest for me was about 10 minutes in the Haunted Mansion. What was really eerie was that we got stuck right near the endless hallway with the floating candle. It was really spooky having to look at that for 10 minutes.

I have been on many rides that have brokendown. Such as Test Track, Space Mountain, Small World, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan. However the best was two years ago in December when I was rding Dinosaur. The pre show was fine and we hopped into the cars. However as soon as we entered the dinosau section there was only pitch black. No Dinosaurs, no ground, nothing just pitch black. even the car had lost its movement. The car was contining along the track but wasnt bouncing around and shaking like it should. It was going at a very slow speed and all I could see was pitch black. However there was sound. So at some points I could hear a dinosaur coming towards me but couldnt see it. :lol:

I was also on Fantasmic when that broke down. When the water screen was suppose to appear everything went black. The show was restarted and we had to watch the beginning agaiin, which I didnt mind :slurp:

I was on Test Track when it broke down, me and my brother were in the car, on the right hand side, we had just gone outside and the car was moving at full speed round the first loop, as we were going down the part where the big digital screen gives you your speed, the car began to slow down. We were moving at about 2mph past the crowd in the queue below. Then the car reached the part of the track where it raises up on the right hand side to circle the building. As it slowly got steeper it became more painful for us because the seatbelts were cutting into us. We reached where it becomes steepest and then the car stopped! We had all been hoping that it wud keep going so we would become flat again. Anyway, we were there for 5 minutes or so, but i amused myself by getting the people in the car with me to shout 'help!' to the crowd below who were gathering round to look at out stranded car.

When we got off the ride eventually they gave us a free ride, then shortly after, i found that my parents who were in the car behind (we were singlke riders who managed to get in the same cars) had been sat on the straight part of the track just outside!

Thats the only major breakdown i've experienced, but spaceship earth stops a lot!

The time I remembe the most was once when Horizons stopped for a little while. It stopped at the scene where the girlfreind is talking to her boy friend on the video phone. I don't know how many times I heard their lines before it started moving again. It seems like Horizons stopped at some point every time I rode it.:lol: I hope I didn't have anything to do with it.:lol:
