Haunted Mansion Mechandise during MNSSHP

OK guys my trip countdown ticker is down to 10 days, 16 hrs, 16 min, tick, tick, tick. YESSSSSSSS! I can hear the ominous howl of the Haunted Mansion as I write this.
Anyway, this will be our first trip attending MNSSHP. On our previous trips there has not been any Haunted Mansion merchandise (except the Nightmare Before Christmas Stuff....eeewwww!) So my questions are; Do they have specialized Haunted Mansion Merchandise for sale during MNSSHP? Also is the Haunted Mansion decorated differently or have additional lighting or creepy effects outside?

Yes sometimes in the past years they have had some. For example one year mickey and minnie were a HM butler and Maid plush dolls.

And another logo one year ...could have been the same year...but anyway had on a shirt the haunted mansion with I believe mickey, goofy, pluto, and donald tick or treating infront of the mansion. There was also a picture frame that looked the same and had light up lanterns too.

They good bring back some of that stuff this year too. You never know...sometimes they got really cool merch. and some really ugly and tacky...that goes also for the Very Merry Christmas party too! I can't stand shirt that have a huge hard plastic image on the front( mainly because if you live in FL it sticks on to your chest in the heat)...but that me..sorry I'll get off my soap box.

I did see that over in Disneyland though they have cool Minnie mouse witch's hats. And sometimes they tell mickey pumpkin ear hats. I know that not Haunted Mansion but thought i should mention it haha.

I hoping to go this year too i MISSED last year!

The HM is not decorated any differently. I do know that they have a "ghostly" lady sit out front and will interact with people in line. I don't know if she has set hours, I didn't see her when I was there last year, but have seen pics of her on here.

Have a lot of fun, get tons of candy!!:wave:

I was disappointed in the past by the lack of merchandise for HM. I am going to the party this year on the 21st (October) and hoping to get something, anything, related to halloween. Our one quest will be to find quality Grumpy hoodies with zippers and that all important baseball hat that has the perfect back strap (etc....) for DH. He is very particular about his hats and the back strap. It has to be one that snaps together to adjust, not with a buckle type adjustment strap. We looked high and low last time and found one, brought it home for him and he thought the "bill" of the cap was not right :shrug:, he won't wear it. If we find some this year, he will be there to try them on, we might buy two or three. He wears a baseball cap everyday, usually a Grumpy one (it is kinda his "signature") and because of that he really needs more than one. He doesn't have a Grumpy hat now to wear so it is a must to find one!

Outside of the Mansion they have a cool Photopass opportunity. They have the carraige hearse set up so you are looking up at the drivers seat looking scared. When you get the photos later they have put in a ghost driving the carraige. The line for this can be long but it's definitely worth it.

I saw the hitch-hiking ghost statues for sale last year but they were at MouseGears in Epcot. Other than that it's more Halloween merchandise rather than HM stuff. I really wish they would have more though. :(

I would love for some great merchandise there. I dont think Disney pays enough attention to this attraction as far as merchandise goes.
