The haunted mansion on disneyland's stretching room is an actual elevator since a lot of the ride is built underground. Just a little over 6 feet under.....well a little more then that prolly;-)

Yeah, and then you ride an escalator at the end of the tour where you see Little Leota saying "Hurry Back" as you go up.

The reason Disneyland's Mansion has elevator stretching rooms is so that guests can go under the Disneyland Railroad track to the show building outside of the track, so it was put there for practical reasons. WDW got the stretching rooms b/c everyone in California loved them.

Did you know the Disneyland one was a escalator?

Anyway, I believe Test Track Track B is the car holding area.

And I think it heads from the no-antilock skid area all the way to track B.
There's no escalator in the HM at DL. There are 2 Giant Elevators and a speedramp. Add on the CM entrances as well. :)
