Haunted Mansion automatic doors?

I wasn't looking for something to be upset about. I wanted to ride Haunted Mansion, got in line, saw the signs, then became upset. Wasn't looking for it.
I didn't mean it that way, and I don't know you from Adam, I was referring to how many small insignificant things seem to set people off.

Why is that...is life that perfect that we cannot accept something that we didn't expect without getting upset about it? I just had a cousin that I cared about a great deal suddenly drop dead. She was 4 years younger then me. When I think about the things that we can get upset about, signs on a door to the Haunted Mansion do not rank up there very high. Something I wouldn't even notice, much less care about.

OMG, you almost made me drop my EXTREMELY HOT DRINK in my lap.... Too bad the container is marked that the contents are hot! You could've made me choke on food... I could've sued the snack company for not having a Choking Hazard warning on the bag. :D

Apparently, you can still sue if you get your "EXTREMELY HOT DRINK" spilled on your lap. Some woman put her Mc Donald's coffee between her legs in a car and tried opening the lid. When she did that, the coffee spilled all over her, giving her third degree burns. She sued and won.

Don't you just love how stupidity is awarded these days?

No matter how many warning signs Disney puts up, someone will still sue and might even win.

Ok, who's gonna do it, who's gonna ride SPLASH mountain and sue for getting wet! :p

There's more than a little bit to the McDonald's story....

And again, not much more to see here than safety and show being combined. Many more things at WDW to be bothered by.

The only stupidity here is that she won. The judge should have laughed in her face and told her to be more careful in the future.

Yes, safety and show, but when you're going for effect, 2 signs on the doors like that, yeah, kinda brings things down some.

How so? They're more themed than your standard "Exit" sign, and as many times as not you won't see them because they'll be open with a CM escorting people inside. Again, much more to be concerned with....

Yes. But exit signs aren't huge and in your face like these signs are. And you'll rarely see them unless you look for them.

The mansion has been that way for how many years without the signs? And now there are signs there? Yes, there's much more to be concerned with... getting signs leading up to the drop in Splash, getting signs to put on the back of the seats in Muppetvision and Philharmagic because you get sprayed ;) .

Like you said, there's so much more they could address, but because some idiot got hit by the door or whatever it was, they had to put signs up... That idiot is taking away from them addressing bigger things.

Safety and show go hand in hand, like it or not. And there's nothing to suggest that any one individual or incident caused this installation. Focus on broken effects instead of Disney trying to proactively ensure their guests remain safe.

Disney doesn't want to spend the money or take the rides down to do what they REALLY need to do, so these signs are the best improvements some will get.

It's been said that Big Thunder is having parts of the rocks actually fall... Put signs in there... That's safety and show.... not a door that opens out at the HM.

Trust me. I AM focused on broken effects, AND ridiculous nonsense like this. Nearly every attraction I went on had broken effects and I noticed them. Heck, even the wardrobe in the BRAND NEW Enchanted Tales With Belle is already broken. I almost just walked out.

All part of the same focus. BTMRR is just a more obvious (and immediately dangerous) example.

Unless, of course, you were the one standing there and you didn't know it opened out. Then that sign would have come in handy.
