Haunted Mansion automatic doors?

Not a big deal to most, probably all. But it did hinder the experience for me... Disney attractions have always been about immersing the audience in the experience. I don't think Haunted Houses in the 1800's had automatic doors.
Nor did they have doom buggies ;).

There's only so much you can do. Having sign's like this is definitely not necessary.
It's probably not necessary for them to have lit exit signs throughout the attraction either. How many times have you needed them? They are there for a reason...whether or not that reason appears obvious is immaterial.

Ya. And ghosts don't exist either. Are you people really using arguments like that? Talking and singing animals don't exist either, but when they don't work on Splash Mountain, we get upset because it ruins the experience.

Hmm. I didn't know a forum full of Disney fans would support this.

Wouldn't support some basic signage to help people avoid getting knocked by doors, should a CM not be present? I think you'll find the majority of the fans here support both show and safety, and that's really all those signs represent.

I'm sorry everyone but I just don't like it.

How interesting...I just noticed these today at MK and wondered if they were new. Not necessary for most people but see why Disney puts them there. Any recent complaints maybe?

Next we will see a lawsuit because Philharmagic uses the word "automagically" and someone will claim they didn't understand.

OMG, do you folks stay up nights trying to find things to be upset about. They are themed with Haunted Mansion typestyle and are there for safety. How do we know they weren't automatic since the beginning. Just because a CM looked to be pushing them open doesn't mean they were. And even if they weren't, who the hell cares! Those exit lights are way more mood breaking then the signs on the doors, they don't even register a notch on the, should be concerned, meter.

The signs are obviously there for safety reasons, and that isn't important unless you are the one hit with them. So let's get to the real mood breaker...did you know (are you ready) that the (are you sure you're ready) Ghosts aren't real either! Damn that Disney...the least they could do would be to put real ghosts in there.
