There's only so much you can do. Having sign's like this is definitely not necessary. They also didn't have moving sidewalks to allow entry into a Doombuggy either.
Suspension of Disbelief.

Nor did they have doom buggiesNot a big deal to most, probably all. But it did hinder the experience for me... Disney attractions have always been about immersing the audience in the experience. I don't think Haunted Houses in the 1800's had automatic doors.
It's probably not necessary for them to have lit exit signs throughout the attraction either. How many times have you needed them? They are there for a reason...whether or not that reason appears obvious is immaterial. There's only so much you can do. Having sign's like this is definitely not necessary.

Ya. And ghosts don't exist either. Are you people really using arguments like that? Talking and singing animals don't exist either, but when they don't work on Splash Mountain, we get upset because it ruins the experience.Nor did they have doom buggies.

I just don't see an issue...I choose to pick my battles.Hmm. I didn't know a forum full of Disney fans would support this.

I'm sorry everyone but I just don't like it.Wouldn't support some basic signage to help people avoid getting knocked by doors, should a CM not be present? I think you'll find the majority of the fans here support both show and safety, and that's really all those signs represent.
And I respect your opinion. It just doesn't bother me.I'm sorry everyone but I just don't like it.
Two words, Value Engineering.Yeah they look kind of cheap. I guess that's Disney's new MO lately.
Soidiotsguests can't sue if they get hit by them
Here's how you fix the theme issues, have the sign read: "Doors Open Spookily Towards You"![]()
