What's keeping Once Upon A Time Away??? May not have a Fan Base but it was a nice offering!
However, i rather miss the golden era of WDW nighttime entertainment, when there are nighttime parade, fireworks, and projection show all in one day at the MK.

FOF may be easily becoming a nighttime parade aside from daytime parade, only they have to cut the amount of daytime version in order to met popular demand of more nighttime entertainment

Is MK considering this or just your guess?

I believe they tested this once and it didn’t work out nearly like they thought it would so the idea was canned. I seem to remember this discussion a few years ago.

I do to, but I’m not sure I believe that. They ran the maleficent dragon at night before and it looked awesome. Sure the floats might need some onboard lighting and perhaps the parade route, with the exception of the hub, might need permanently installed lighting towers, but it’s very doable and would cost a lot less than building a new parade.

As much as I would love for it to return, the Kiss Goodnight contains an instrumental snippet of Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah, and so we will likely never hear it again in its current form. :(
Why don't they just re-record and re-narrate it without ladies and gentleman boys and girls and Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah

Would be nice if MK would hear our Night Parade Wishes....

Just a guess IF one was in the works it wouldn’t happen until later this year. First so far the only entertainment offering we know of for the 100th is Epcot’s new show, nothing new was announced for MK and HEA was never mentioned to be returning as part of the 100th. Granted there is other things they can throw in like a cavalcade, separate projection show like Once Upon A Time, or a 100th tag addition to HEA later on this year.
Also I think it was posted somewhere that the college program will resume entertainment opportunities in the fall? So that could open the door for further parade staffing. Just a wild guess though.

Kiss goodnight contained phrase Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. So, unless the new announcer reworked Kiss Goodnight with more inclusive greeting, this is unlikely to return.
It also contains a short riff from Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah. Unclear at this point if that's a blocker. Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is also sung very, very briefly in Magic Happens; we'll see what changes are made there.

Maybe that’s why it’s taken so long to bring back. In Festival of Fantasy it was easy to just remove the vocals but I think it’ll be harder with magic happens

As long as they do the MSUSA projections well…they are awful for DE.
They started work on this at least as far back as last September, meaning that had more time than for enchantment and it’s HEA so I think they want to treat it with care to make sure it comes up as good as possible. And maybe some of the people working on Wondrous Journeys will come over to HEA when they finish all the work for that show.

I mean; the good news is most the art is already built. It’s a matter of adapting the projections for the MSUSA facades, and then designing some new stuff if needed.

And making sure it doesn’t look like a 5th grader made them…

It feels like DE was rushed, but I like the projection work for HE, so if they are just adapting the existing to the facades, it should be great :)

adapt and add if needed, and all should be good. I certainly hope they go the Disneyland route and start the projections up right away.
