Yea but Disney Channel shows are WAAAAYY better than Nickelodeon... Nickelodeon was good in it's hay-day (mid-late 80s until mid 90s)... I saw Ali & AJ perform with the Cheetah Girls at the XMas Parade taping and they were actually pretty entertaining...

Just saw the report on her being there. Sounds interesting.

And yes, I'm a fan of Hannah Montana (hello...Billy Ray Cyrus! )

I'm also a fan of Suite Life of Zach and Cody :)

I just called the station. They said that you have to listen to local Florida stations to win the tickets. You can't purchase them, and only ticket winners will be able to enter the concert. They said you may be able to hear the concert in the park, but can't enter. Oh well, screwed again for being so far away.:(

yeah your 31 hardley anyone whos your age likes disney channel its meant for 20's and teens!

Oh snap, Mr. 31 got told :)

I'm 21, and I love Hannah Montana. I loved Lizzie McGuire, but ya know what? Miley Cyrus has something Hilary Duff never really had...A VOICE! She can sing, and hit some notes that Hilary Duff obviously can't. I rock out to "Best of Both Worlds" when i'm on my way to work b/c it totally pumps me up!

So for all you "haters" who came into a post about a girl who is a FAN, leave your negative comments at the door or just go somewhere else.

I totally agree. Plus, look who she has as a daddy

I do think Miley has talent. Actually, except for Hillary Duff, everyone has some talent like Aly, Ashley Tisdale, etc. But Hillary...nah :lookaroun

I told my daughter who's 11 about this contest this afternoon. So between 5 & 6 pm she listened to Radio Disney. The VERY FIRST time she called in, she was the 10th caller and WON! :) But apparently she is only registered for a drawing tomorrow afternoon for the Hannah Montana concert...so we won't know until tomorrow if she wins that.

BUT ... she did win 4 tickets to go to Wild Adventures on June 24th to see Raven's concert and to get to meet her!!!! :sohappy: She is soooo excited. I am too. I like Raven better than some of the others (and yes, i am an oldie of 38) and I love Wild Adventures... we always have a good time when we go there.

I swear, she is soooo lucky, she always has been. Everything that girl touches seems to turn to gold .... I never had that kind of luck!

I watch Disney Channel shows with my 8 year old all the time and I'm not ashamed to admitt that I don't mind watching them. When I went camping with her Brownie Troop some of the other Moms and I were talking about this and they admitted to liking them as well and they ranged in age from 30-45. I'm taking my daughter to see Aly & AJ at the Cape Cod Melody Tent this weekend. She loves the Disney Channel stars and I would rather have her idolizing them instead of someone like Brittney Spears.

I just got back from CMA Fest (Fan Fair) in Nashville this last weekend. They were giving away Hannah Montana posters at Billy Ray Cyrus' fan club booth. More people were snatching up the posters of his daughter and were interested in him. All the kids were asking if she was in town and if she was going to perform but her dad's fan club didn't know anything:p .

As far as I know, she wasn't there and didn't perform anywhere.

I know it would be a long shot. But we had a Bon Jovi, Goo Goo Dolls concert put on by Miller Brewing in Milwaukee last summer. The only way to get tickets was through the radio stations or by being a Miller Brewing employee. My friend won tickets and I went (ok bands, bad accoustics in Miller Park). People had extra tickets the day of the show for people that backed out. Now Miller Park holds 40 K plus. But if the demand for this is not as high as expected, maybe some WDW CM's would have access to these tickets. I would hate to get up the expectations of a little fan, but showing up couldn't hurt if you don't get them by the concert date. I would let her know the chances of getting in would be slim and if she was fine with that, I would try it. Ask friends, you would be amazed after the fact who might be able to hook you up. I never turn down free concert ticket offers. I always find friends or people that come to my bar that would go. Usuallly, the favor gets returned one way or another. Good luck and if you really want them, have friends call the station to try and win them also while your trying. We missed free Rascal Flatts tickets by 1 caller.

My son and I watch all the Disney shows (Hannah, Kim Possible, Zack & Cody, Lilo & Stitch) and the movies. They are fun. I like the fact that there is a channel that as nice, family shows and I don't have to scramble for the remote when the commercials come on.

I hope ya'll don't mind me putting in my $.02. I'm 24 years old and I love watching the Disney Channel. I love Lilo and Stitch, Hanna, Suite life, and Raven. I'll watch the other shows too but the above listed are my fave. I love watching Raven and remembering how young she was on the cosby show. Raven is a hero of mine b/c like me she is a plus sized girl, seeing her on TV tells me that anyone can become an actress, you don't have to be skinny & blonde to become famous. Sorry for getting a lil off topic I just wanted to put in my $.02.

That is so awesome! My daughters were so bummed when they found out we had to listen to Radio Disney to get tickets. We're in Maine and of course don't have Radio Disney.:( We had to be listening to a FL station anyway. I actually considered pulling the kids out of their last day of school and driving down for an impromptu Disney trip.:) But, I am still here in Maine. I guess I let reality take over.:p Guess I will have to wait for December to come.
