Dang!!!! My daughter won!!! It includes a room (not sure which Disney resort), typhoon lagoon tickets, and a disney park ticket. I think she also gets to meet Hannah Montana... Wow :sohappy:

When you were talking about how your daughter has the best of luck and everything she touches turns to gold, I immediately thought of the recent movie, "Just My Luck" with Lindsay Lohan. Did you see that? Cute movie..I'm sure you would definitely think of your daughter being like that! (except for the bad parts of her losing her luck, that's no fun!)

is it weird that i'm almost 21 and love this show? haha..i don't know why but i'm hooked (suite life of zack and cody also)...

but one thing--what is it with her mouth or her teeth? i can't figure it out? it's like her back teeth are locked together, am i the only one?

sorry to get off topic--i know it's a weird question, but i've been dying to ask somebody!

congrats.:sohappy:

will you come back and tell us all about it?:)

Thank you all! But the most awful thing about it is that I am not sure whether she will be able to go... She did not realize it was on a Thursday when she entered. I start a new job Monday and know I cannot go. Her dad is self employed landscaper but is swamped with work right now. Her grandparents, who live only 30 min from WDW, won't do it because "THEY don't like water parks and THEY would not have any fun" (even though they are off that day)...plus she does not know how to swim.

So far I have asked two friends to take her and her 10yo brother, along with their child. One said no, as they could not get off work. The other is a 'maybe' and she is a stay at home mom, but has I am hoping, hoping, hoping that either her dad will come through for her and take off work or that my friend & her daughter can do it....

So please keep those fingers crossed for her .... it would be the dream of her little lifetime (so far) to go ...

Well, is she going to be singing the same crappy songs from the show. I mean, who is going to pay money to go to a concert or even buy a cd of an artist singing about how good it is to be famous. Its stupid.

Off the top of my head I would say she will be lip sincing?, I don't believe she'll actually be doing it live. Think about ashley simpson. I have never seen the show so I can't say if it's good or not.

Yaaaayyy!!! My 21 year old who moved to DC in April volunteered to fly down (at her expense) to take my daughter!!! She will be here Wednesday... I think she was homesick and needed an excuse to come back, but I still think it is soooo sweet that she is doing this!

That is sooo awesome!

I'm 22 and am admittedly obsessed with Disney channel shows! Hannah Montana, Suite Life, Raven, and one no one's mentioned, Naturally Sadie are among my favorites. The new Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is really cute too!

My sister and I would die to go to her concert, and do plan on buying her CD when it comes out. She's currently on my "most played" list on my iPod.

BTW, i live 45 minutes from Wildwood, and had no idea Raven would be here this weekend. Go figure. Maybe I'll try to get down and see her.

They've changed with the times. While I agree that the new cartoons (Lilo and Stitch, American Dragon, The Buzz on Maggie) leave little to be desired (And then I just don't tune into them.....it's that simple), the new sitcoms are great for families.
Raven - Is not your typical blonde haired 100 lb teeny-bopper, she's a "real" girl

Hannah Montana - okay, so she fit's in to the less then 100lb category, but she's not blonde, and she does have a voice!

Suite Life - when was the last time Disney channel had a show that had males as the main stars?

And while we're on the subject, High School Musical - I think really taught a lot of good lessons, and had some great songs to boot.

But, I understand that to each his own, and not everyone is going to agree, but that's just my take on it.

And, Raven was in Wildwood NJ on Saturday. Dang, I missed her. Tickets weren't bad either, $15 for just her concert, or $30 for admission to both waterparks and three amusment parks (on the Wildwood Boardwalk) then admission to the concert that night. I didn't know she just finished taping her final season. Does anyone know why the series ended?

I thought I was the only one who noticed this! Its really obvious in more recent episodes - not so much in the first ones. I thought it was just a bad retainer.....

Tickets ??

Does anyone know of any way to still get tickets to Hannah Montanna at Typhoon Lagoon. My daughter would just flip if I could get her tickets..I know it's a long shot, but thought I would put it out there.

the info on the website and on the tv indicate that you have to win tickets, but when I was talking to the radio disney guy, they made it sound like that the winner's tickets and the film crew and other invited folks tickets would be at will call from 6:30 to 8:30 am. But then they would be also selling tickets there from about 8:30 until 10 am, then closing the park to other guests at 10 am or at capacity... but I am not sure. He was not making real good sense ...

Again, that info did not come from Disney but from the Radio Disney guy. I think basically somebody (Radio Disney, maybe?) rented out the place? Maybe they would know for sure?....

I just called Disney and spoke to someone with a very heavy accent. She said they will be selling park tickets as usual until 10 am, or until their limited capacity for the television production is met. At 10 am they will close admission to the park and not let anyone else in for the rest of the day.

You may want to re-verify for sure before you go, though, because I'd hate for your daughter to go and then be turned away.... that would be disappointing.
