Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort

Thankfully this will have online sales, unlike the insanity of phone waits for boo bash. Does anyone know what time the tickets should go on sale? Would it still be 7am or so Eastern or do they start sales for DLR events at a reasonable time for the west coast?

It will be interesting to see if Frightfully Fun’s return also comes with Magic Happens, or even Paint The Night since rumor has it WoC is undergoing refurb. I believe that’s why they moved Paint to DCA last time during WoCs last refurb.

"Tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash will go on sale beginning Tuesday, July 13, 2021 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) at Disneyland.com/OogieBoogieBash.**"

Ghost Galaxy really was pretty garbage.
But it was my garbage. 😭😂

Interesting how DLR basically has its normal Halloween upcharge offerings and WDW won't have Not-So-Scary.

Was the WOC Villains show any good?

I'm totally fine with them having killed off Ghost Galaxy-easily the worst of the overlays that got any long-term traction at the resort IMO.
Ghost Galaxy and not Jingle Cruise? Though I guess Jingle Cruise didn't last all that long...

WOC Villainous was cute! It was the first WOC to have a narrative of sorts rather than just vignettes and it was pretty endearing. Definitely better than Winter Dreams and Celebrate, probably just under or on par with Season of Light.

Exactly, Ghost Galaxy lasted for...a decade I believe, vs. only a few seasons for Jingle Cruise.

So perhaps I should wait until they fix WOC before I attempt the Halloween party, especially since it seems like parking isn't included and as much as DCA is really a better place for the Halloween Party to be hosted, it's still...DCA.

such a shame :( Honestly their best overlay.

Also was hoping Oogie Boogie Bash would get some new additions. This would be a great time to have some Marvel Villains walking around or some Aliens from the fortress being loose in the Campus.
The last OBB had Star-Lord doing meet & greets and Loki out wandering amongst the guests (yes, only one of those is a "villain" though I don't consider him such lol). Though now that they have Taskmaster at AC, he could easily be added this year. I would expect some Marvel presence at the party.

Glad I went to the first OBB - loved the character meets, the treat trails with characters and the parade.

But since I go to the parks with DCA/AC as my primary focus, it seems a good idea that I'm focusing my visits now and next month rather than in September/October where I'd have to carefully choose non-party dates for any reservations I make. What I enjoy is primarily afternoon/evening character interactions and entertainment. I'd lose a lot of reason to go if I had to leave at 6. :(

WoC Celebrate was the best, you had Neil Patrick and Mickey doing karaoke of Disney parks songs to bad flash animation projected onto the water. Then you have a Star Wars Force Awakens trailer and Let It Go for no reason. What a classic.

It's like a bootleg version of Remember Dreams Come True but with advertisements thrown in.
