Halloween Costumes

Halloween is not my favorite holiday. In fact, it falls somewhere behind Flag Day with respect to how excited I usually am for it and its associated hoopla. That said, I do enjoy being social and am thus scheduled to be making the rounds this weekend with friends to parties, bars and who knows what else.

I bought my costume today on a lark and so now it's time that you all share with me (and everyone else!) what your Halloween costume is. Pictures are helpful! Anything that'll help me to feel a little less awkward is encouraged; required, even.

Come on folks -- out with it. :)

My friends and I decided to go as the Homestar Runner gang this year. I'm going as Bubs. It was a pain to find blue face paint but I did so this is gonna be good.

My costume is that, minus the heart and ax.

Please note: That is not me in that picture.

Wow...this will be interesting...

How are you going to pull off looking like this?

I'd hate to be the kid going as strong bad. No shirt. Black spandex. Boxing Gloves?

Where's homestar going to hide his hands?;

Im going to be using blue, black, and white facepaint to get Bubs's look as
well as a longsleeve orange sweatshirt, and green and black warm-up pants.

Dont worry, were getting it worked out and we think it'll work out preety good. As Homestar's arms, lets just say we solved that problem with a giant papercutter :animwink:

The site that sells the costumes like that is awesome! They have some pretty risque ones with Disney characters, but I'm not complaining.

As for me, I don't do the whole Halloween thing, so I'll probably just sit at home or go to the parks and enjoy that day.

Welp, we had our Halloween party this past weekend because we all have some stuff to do this coming weekend, and as usual, I did the Capt. Jack Sparrow thing. I try to improve on it every year. The last couple year's pics are in my photo album, and this years are attached below...

Madison, that is one HOT costume lol

I'm going as a Gangsta' Cow. I bought the generic cow costume, but I'm hiking up one leg of the costume, wearing a black and white bandana, peircing the udders, and making a cowbell bling chain!

I don't know if I'll be dressing up or not.
My wife has to wear a costume to work this week and on Halloween.
On mon and tues she was a little kid.
Today she's going to be an ultimate disney tourist.
She's still asking what to be for the rest of the week though.

VERY cute costume! I hope it comes with Spankees... or that you bring a towel to sit on :lookaroun

I usually get really into Halloween but this year is not my year. Being pregnant and 1,750 miles from our friends and their parties has kind of put the kibosh on that. So I'll continue to live vicariously through you people. Great idea for a thread; keep posting! :sohappy:
