With previous generations, I might agree with you. However, Disney has been studio IP motivated for so long, and Disney's consumers have changed so much with their expectations, I think the primary reaction will be, "I love [insert franchise replacing]! I didn't understand why things like the Hall of Presidents were in a Disney Park anyway. If I wanted history I would have gone to DC or Philadelphia." The next group of parents are those who were babies at the start of, or were born in this century, and I don't think they tie American values & Disney together like you think they do.I didn't want to get political, but I feel this needs to be addressed: Disney's removal of Americana from their theme parks is the exact kind of behavior from corporations that has increasingly pushed voters towards conservative candidates. Believe it or not, most Americans like America and think cancel culture is stupid. While I understand your argument is that Disney would make this change for business reasons, to many Americans it's going to sound like "woke Disney" is making another attack on American values.
