I’m going to guess that you went to WDW as a kid though so that kind of makes it a moot point. The nostalgia carries over from WDW.
I've never been to WDW so they could blow up their castle and I wouldn't even care so I definitely don't think this works

That sounds like a load of crap.

This doesn’t make sense to me.

For the record, I didn't step foot into Disneyland until 2006. So no childhood nostalgia for me either.

Alright HOB members, I hear ya loud & clear. Especially you @lazyboy97o...I know you disapprove. Your silence is DEAFENING!

I'll fix it.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Otherwise, you're mainly right about old being good and new tending to be bad. The best ride I think Disney has done in decades is that Avatar boat ride, which has received lukewarm response, doesn't feature any well-known characters, is slow-moving and is basically a strange grotto with alien plants. They tend to stick with "safe" attractions featuring characters and more thrilling ride systems.

Wait wait wait .... hold on HOB, my point still stands that a typical HOB trait is that old things are better than new. Whether that’s fueled by nostalgia or an allegiance to anything created by WED enterprises.
