My Disneyland nostalgia is mostly early 2000's junk. Tomorrowland '98 (Astro Orbitor, Pizza Port, Autopia with Chevron sponsorship, etc), Club Buzz, and DCA (as viewed from outside the park in 2004). I do have fond memories of the Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Tours, Winnie the Pooh, and Fantasyland rides. For the most part though, my nostalgia and fond memories don't really get in the way of my opinions.

I'm fairly certain there are members of this "club" that enjoy Haunted Mansion Holiday, and I'm not having any of that.
Here's me explaining my feelings on HMH

I noticed an error in the new = bad, old = charming. You see, I didn't grow up with Disneyland. I didn't go until the 2010s. Before that, I had only watched the Disneyland Sing-Along VHS tape and obsessed over the Haunted Mansion segment. My appreciation of its charm and chintz has nothing to do with nostalgia.

I’m going to guess that you went to WDW as a kid though so that kind of makes it a moot point. The nostalgia carries over from WDW.

Those canon balls would just ricochet off of our Brer backs. Besides what would you do when you get off the Columbia and have 5 Bruhs to deal with?
Bunker down in Fort Wilderness and man the guns.

(I think this photo's actually from WDW's Fort Langhorn. I couldn't find any pictures of the guns in Fort Wilderness since it's been DESTROYED!)

I was born in the early 90’s, so I obviously don’t have a recollection of Disneyland in its early years when Walt Disney was alive. Some of my childhood memories of the DLR consisted of 1998 Tomorrowland, Toontown, the 50th, and DCA 1.0. I just have tremendous respect and admiration for Disneyland’s history and its original concepts, and I’m infatuated with the park’s early years.

I wouldn’t complain so much if the idiots currently at Disney would get it together and start caring for and respecting the park and its history.
