I've realized the only thing I'm a fan of that I don't actively hate the majority of other fans is baseball. I only hate 1/30th of the fans of baseball. But Star Wars and Disneyland fans I absolutely loathe.
What kind of mental disorder is it where someone spends thousands to go to place they hate over and over again and then blog about it online? If you hate it, why are you here?

Boston Sports Fans exhibited the signs of this disease for decades as did fans of the Chicago Cubs history utltimately rewarded their faith, But that was because in all cases the ownership of the teams decided that ultimately the Fan experience was the business and all went on to huge profits as well strange how that works...

A tribute to the GREAT Harry Caray

My biggest peeve is walking the park and hearing people spout off their made up Disneyland facts.

"Hey, you see that rocket in Tomorrowland, that's been there since opening day!"

I'm all for the sharing of bits of trivia, but not when it's made up and being yelled so everyone else in Space Mountain line can hear.

PREACH. I once got into an argument with my friend because she whole-heartedly believed WDW was built before Disneyland. People to this day still think Walt was an anti-Semitic even though countless documentaries with Walt's closest employees said they never saw it.
Also, "but the twilight zone contract was up so they didn't have a choice".

Never heard the WDW one, but I did know someone who thought that PotC was built after the film- and someone else who thought PotC was an opening day attraction. Both were self claimed Disney fanatics. Sometimes, it's just pure ignorance- since not many have an affinity for studying theme park history.

Baseball. a big Padres Fan, since the beginning, good years and bad (Got a ticket to one of the World Series game at Jack Murphy Stadium). Also a fan of the Angels (aka, the Laa-Laa's) and the Blue Jays (my grandmother's live or die team). Now, the team in Blue up the freeway, hated since I was a Padres fan (even though I live in the House that Dick Gray lived in for decades). Also not a fan of the pinstripes out east. I watch the Cubs with fascination, both for its losing streak, but all its history(which includes Catalina Island).

Now, I am a big Soccer fan since I was a kid, also a big Hockey Fan, ran into Bob Miller last night in a parking lot, he was looking for a place he needed to go to, so I am helped him out. Then introduced him to my wife, where he shook her hand, then went on his way (we met up with him again later). She said, "I just shook hands with Bob Miller????!!!!",and I responded with a giggle. (I didn't say his full name when they shook). He was also wearing his championship ring... Fun night.

I see it as a defining trait of the HOB.

And a wonderful trait it is my good sir.

Crazy. The "WDW before Disneyland" girl was also a self-proclaimed Disney fanatic.

Unfortunately this is a problem with all aspects of life, even in the mainstream media.
