@mickEblu Bruh, I can see his transition to the dark side. @Chef Mickey has been the biggest pixie-duster on steroids, and yet he is turning. Might become a legendary HOB someday...

Why have people put up with Disney so lazy and cheap? I have an excuse...I am a Disney apologist with a lot of emotional nostalgia built in, but what's the excuse for everyone else?

I'm frankly shocked that people haven't done more "voting with their wallets" and punish Disney, particularly for the EPCOT and DHS debacles of the last 10 years.

Now I know Universal has seen some nice gains, but Disney still grows their attendance to the point the parks are now almost literally bursting (thanks for not expanding more).

I strongly dislike Iger and his failed model of expansion in other parts of the world, focus on margin, and general auto pilot on WDW. Yet, he has been under watch as Disney World sets attendance records and the stock hovers near all time highs.

How is the consumer so resilient? Perhaps they just don't know what they're missing?

Not much. I have been 3X just this year and have season passes. I'll be going to Tokyo Disney next month and my love for Disney has never been stronger.

I've pretty much had the same opinion about lack of expansion and E-Tickets since Iger took over and took credit for Everest.

That's how it starts...

the feeling of powerlessness
that turns good men....

The "Bruhs" criticizing those who think the classic attractions are above modern ones is a little hypocritical, wouldn't you say? Considering every time your heroes open a mediocre new attraction, you write a puff piece editorial about a CEO who, if he wanted to, could burn the whole place down. There wouldn't be a damn thing we can do to stop it.

Believe, it's like a love song saying, "I wish I could quit you" but I'll never be able to.

Or like Brokeback Mountain.....Disney Style.

This is you to Iger/Disney:

Ha ha ha ha, it’s weird that you remember that. I accept your friendship request.
Some things stick in my head forever, that kitchen of yours must have made some impression on me.

But seriously, I have a friend that would be perfect for you. She loves Disney and doctors and beautiful kitchen cabinets, I mean what else is there in life? ;)
