Man, I could not have said it better. That was the WORST half-time show I have ever seen and I've seen most of the 38 half-time shows. I don't know who orchestrated that friggin' mess but someone needs to find another job.

Agreed. That was one stinky half time show. They should have done somthing like a Cirque du Soile show for the Half Time. That would've been more interesting and entertaining.

:hurl: When I heard Jessica Simpson was added to the halftime show, I was excited. Then to watch it and see she just did the opening for it made me mad. lol. The best part of the whole thing was the opening and the band. I thought it was neat to have a band at half time!

Well, I thought this middle-aged, conservative boy would be standing alone on the disgusting nature of the halftime show and the lack of musicianship of the show, but I am glad I'm not alone. Put any of them behind a curtain on American Idol and let them sing like everyone else and none of them make the first cut. Janet and Justin's stunt ranks right up there with Madonna, Christina, and Britney. How low can we go?

I completely agree...but I'll tell you...if Kid Rock had done some new stuff...you'd appreciate him

Can you believe that Justin now released a statement apologizing for the stunt and blaming it on a "wardrobe malfunction"? Yea right, that piece of her costume just fell off in his hand during the appropriate lyrics in his song and she always wears a tassle where her nipple is under her clothes Who is going to believe that? They got MTV and CBS in a heap of trouble with the head of NFL stating MTV will probably not be allowed to be involved in another half time show ever. They're just trying to cover up for those people. At least be professional enough to admit your mistake. Janet didn't even bother to 'cover up' and Justin just stood there with her "bra" in his hand down at his waist. If it was so unexpected, a respectable person's first instinct would be to cross their arms and cover up. Not just stand there as 100 million people watched. Good grief.

And Janet/Justin's act: gave new meaning to the idea of TV as the " tube"!

I was a leader at a church youth group Super Bowl Party, and the whole thing, Janet's body part and all, just frustrated me. It caused some people to question half-time shows, etc., in a youth event. It has just caused unnecessary questions.

I liked when MTV did the half-time show a few years ago, with Aerosmith and 'NSync. That was silly and fun and appropriate (for the most part). So, I was looking forward to this one; but instead it just was a vulgar, badly-lip-synched mess.

Didn't sound rude to me... Seems like he has a point, actually.

This was a commerical stunt done to make everyone go crazy, and it's working. If every ignored it, and didn't even mention it, things like this wouldn't happen.
