The WDW faithful replies on that tweet are hysterical. Do people not have any self awareness at all?

Disney had its own failures on opening. All of Epcot. (Heck UofE didn't run properly for months). The Yeti (still not fixed due to poor design). Test Track (which also didn't open at full capacity). FoP which still has problems. Space Mountain opening with poorly designed tracks that needed to be replaced. At least at some points they were. Universal has been running this attraction at 1/2 capacity maximum ever since it opened. These also aren’t theaters, they’re coaster trains.
No matter how many rehearsals you do you will never be totally prepared for running at full speed every hour the park is open. That applies to just about anything. I'm sure any problems are being worked out as they come up. That will all take time just like the other Potter rides and yes Pandora did have big problems when it opened with things like their motors in the attraction were over heating and they would have to be shut down to cool. That cut down on capacity for sure with the theaters not running at full capacity.
When the wait times lower I think this will not be a problem anymore (at least not as much). The problem currently is by the time people reach those areas of the queue they have been in line for 3-5 hours and their patience is extremely thin. No one is interested in what is being said at that point they just want to get on the ride before they go insane lol.I'm just feeling more and more lucky that I got to ride the attraction twice for less than 2hr investment
I'm suprised more people aren't talking about the effect in the ceiling in the final queue area. It's pretty neat how the effect is achieved. It looks like shadows and lights on the ceiling... even if it were done via projection from the backside. But it's not. It's actually rows and rows of LEDs that illuminate into the slatted areas are all synchronized to change color and turn off in patterns that make it look light and shadow. It's very cool how it's there, but not detailed at the same time.
I will say tho, that the audio in the queue is hopelessly drowned out by the crowd noise. You hear them talking, but can't make any of it out.

To be fair I was able to understand what they were saying in each room on both of my visits. No, they will have to make adjustments if they actually want people to hear it. It's just the normal churn of people talking amongst themselves when you put a couple hundred people together in an enclosed space it gets loud. No one is going to sit like church mice in a long set of switchbacks.
If I recall the max occupancy sign said something like 417 people.. (or like 280.. forget which) it's on the wall right near the child swap room along the wall the child swap people walk towards the loading area.
They will have to improve the audio locations to make it more understandable... or radically change the mix so the voice track is more clear.
I’m sorry that I have high expectations for theme parks. I can’t help it if your standards aren’t as high. Maybe that’s why you’re a Uni apologist.
Wait till she hits that last launch
I continue to be surprised that the parks obsess over summer openings (all FL parks are guilty of this). Why open rides when you are guaranteed to have tons of hot, sweaty, irritable guests and frequent storms? It’s not as though the parks get significantly more guests in the summer than the rest of the year like Six Flags (the opposite, actually). The shorter hours, lower crowds, and better weather in January would be a better time to open a new ride.
But why? They charge more to get into the parks and resorts during other times of year. Summer is increasingly quiet in the FL parks. August has the lowest crowds of every month that I've been to FL.because marketing and revenue >> 'optimal smoothness'

They choose when to open rides and begin construction on a timetable to meet that goal. It is stupid to go with summer as the opening window in Central Florida. When you spend hundreds of millions of dollars... for the sole purpose of attracting guests to your place... well, that's what they want to do as soon as possible

That is no longer the case. July has been quite quiet in the parks the last few years. via Touringplans:Peak season starts Memorial day weekend which is when we start to have the largest crowds because schools are out and so many families will be on vacation here. It will start to slow down some in August and really taper off mid-late October. March/April would be a good alternative, but that would have pushed the attraction opening off to 2020.
